I'm thinking about buying a new RR, full model.
Are RR quality issues spotty, isolated, widespread, or just outright
total - ie. stay away at all costs?

Soz i aint posted for a whiles ive been on strike alot ! But im back ! money
dictates everything. The wife wants me to sell the V8 110 cos of the running
costs. I cant convert to LPG in the near future cos of financial commitments

Afternoon all,
I'm trying to take apart the pile of pulleys and damper which hangs
off the crank of the 3.9i V8. The assembly seems to be held together
by 6 bolts running through - either 1/2AF or M8 (13mm head). The

and the back windscreen intermittent, fuse ok and sometimes it does
all work! when locking the doors the horn beeps to signify something
is open- is the back window not closed properly is this the cause? im
stumped any one???

Does anyone know whether the windscreen from Discovery 2 will fit onto a
300tdi? There's one going for sale on ebay and i's got me a couple of tiny
chips in "the zone" and an MOT on the way...

On a 2001 Freelander TD4 diesel, I'm hearing very loud banging noises
when the engine is idling a few seconds after ignition. It sounds like
the normal engine "cluk" sound but five times as loud.
I've heard similar noises before when doing a tight corner, but only

Ready to drop the engine, gearbox is out!  Any hints and tips, looks
awful tight to get a crane through the door and drop the engine!

Just been through Gorton today and a flat on Hyde Road has (spray )snow on
the window and the Xmas tree lit up ! Anybody got their Landy related

Howdy folks,
With the temperature dropping for the last few mornings I have been
having a problem getting the Discovery to fire up. I'm having to operate
the glow plugs about 10 times before the engine with fire and stay running.

Christmas is coming and I am thinking of what to buy the car drivers.
I have just been watching a TV selling channel advocating the use of a
sealant  you put into the tyre. In the event of a puncture it is instantly
sealed and you don't have to change a tyre.. Fantastic.

I'm looking to mount some extra lights on my A-bar and I'm struggling
to find a bracket that will go around the a-bar frame, the 'tubular'
bits.
