Took the head off the 300 TDi Saturday  no cracks and flat as a witchs etc
but the thermostat housing was badly sealed 3 bolts came out and one awkard
bleeder came out down to the last 1/2inch and siezed leaving a 5/16 stump no
joy with the moles nor welding a nut on ( 4 times ) ...

How would you go about removing the steering wheel from a DiscoII without
setting off the airbag. I can't see any way to remove it. I need to get to
the stalk switches behind it.

forgot to renew last years SORn and now bin slapped with £40 fine, the thing

I know my Disco will tow 3.5 tons. But does anyone know if
there's a list of towing allowances for specific vehicles? I'm
thinking of buying another car but the towing allowance will
partly determine my choice of vehicle.

My 2A has always been incredibly hard to start, It had a new battery
about 3 years ago but i think it was too low a rating as even with that
it was tricky to start.
It has no hope now in the cold and ive been jumping it for the last week
