Has anyone here tried to start a Disco Tdi by letting it roll down a hill in
2L.
I have a dual battery in mine but often wondered if a roll start is possible

Motivated by the need to check the pads on the Laguna I finally got the

Having removed the head from my LR90 - 2.5 TD I have noticed small cracks
around the openings of the 'hotspots'. What do these 'hotspots' do exactly?
Do I need to worry about these cracks? Thanks.

I took my 110 V8 in to work today, and immediately remembered that
last time I drove it seemed a bit odd. Have found I have no damping on
the front suspension AT ALL ! It felt a bit like a floaty bus ride
until it hit a bit of bad road on a corner when it bounced sideways at

Following on many earlier threads, I was at the Bristol Makros last
night.  Their cheapest SVO was £14.99 for 20L and zero VAT. I got 120L
which at a 50/50 mix through the winter will do me for 4 fill ups.

Somehow, the nearside end capping piece on the rear bumper of my 'new'
Disco1 seems to have a large dent in it and have been dislodged. I don't
remember hitting anything, so am blaming the Tesco car park.
