Difflock.com ... Bigging them up.  ;)24 Mar 2008 20:08 GMT10
Ordered the U/J Propshaft nut tool from them a few days ago but next

they currently had no stock.  Anyway, the tool didn't arrive soon
enough for me and I did the job without it (again!) which was obviously
Hirsty's not long now24 Mar 2008 19:55 GMT7
Hi all, I joined this newsgroup about 9 years ago if I remember rightly. I

and family has grown up. Daughter from 11 year old pupil ...

3.5 V8 Head Gaskets (with photos)23 Mar 2008 02:13 GMT5
I've started stripping the top end of my 1991 V8 3.5 Disco. It had been
starting and running fine (albeit a tad rich) but losing coolant and
overheating. I reckon I've got a head gasket (or two) failure and to be
honest, I'd been looking for an excuse to take it to bits anyway. ...
Ice Road Truckers DVD22 Mar 2008 11:56 GMT6
I caught a bit of 'Ice Road Truckers' on the tv the other night, does
anyone have the DVD they could lend me so I can watch them through? I
don't want to buy it as will probably only watch it once and my
schedule is too unreliable to try and catch it when broadcast.

Spray galvanizing21 Mar 2008 17:04 GMT12
I need to deal with some rusty areas on galvanized on a series II
restoration. Has anyone used "spray can galvanizing"? Do they replicate
a galvanized finish or just look like galvanized color paint.

Help - Disco1 or Defender 9021 Mar 2008 01:13 GMT15
I have finally persuaded SWMBO to let me buy a toy for off-road use :-)
Really fancy a Defender 90 but OMG the prices are daft, looking at least £5k
for a straight 200/300 Tdi  with no mods. On the flip side I can get a Disco
