bearing races completely dried out and devoid of grease.  The one I
Is the 2.5 TD engine any good?18 Mar 2008 22:04 GMT34
I am after a 90 to use as an off-roader. There are a few nice cheap ones

Anyone got any thoughts on this please? How easy would it be to transplant a

Hello again all, been away for a while.  The saga of my 110 SW is
almost over, with Willetts Landrovers Ltd. winding up business to

her up, she's for sale.  Superb condition body and chassis, 1983 110

Auto box questions... again.17 Mar 2008 00:00 GMT11
Right, it's all in and it works, but not as I'd like it to.
Transmission temp light comes on once it's been driven for a mile or so,
but the fluid isn't very hot at all, so I don't know what's going on
there. It did the same with the old box. I've flushed the oil cooler
Car Parts in dishwasher16 Mar 2008 23:55 GMT11
Anyone on here done it? Did it clean the parts and/or bu99er the dishwasher?
I'm considering buying an additional 2nd hand machine just for this purpose
but am I wasting my time/money? If it leaves no residue or smell I might
take the plunge and use our main kitchen one.

Chain saws.16 Mar 2008 15:51 GMT70
The survivalist nutter in me says I NEED a chain saw. A number of lanes have
caused the odd  delay as my little hand held chopper is sooner or later not
going to be big enough.

Body transplant15 Mar 2008 14:43 GMT5
I have a Series III with no engine or gearbox and may possibly get a
rolled 2003 Discovery and swop all the mechanicals. Any thoughts as to
why a person would think of doing such a thing? Do I need treatment? Any
one done anything similar?
