Is the tow hitch on a Disco 1 the same dimensions as the Disco 2??. Am fed up of the huge gert thing on the back of the TD5 digging in the ground when lugging wood across a field, even with the car pumped up the extra 50mm. Was thinking of putting the old tow hitch of the Disco ...

Does anyone have an opinion about fitting a 130 clutch plate to a 300Tdi 90? I replaced the whole clutch assembly on my 300Tdi 90 35k miles ago, it was a Valeo from memory, but the damn thing seems to be going west, sounds like a bag of nuts n bolts when I pull away - spring(s) ...

My mate just fetched home this R reg 4.6 HSE that's stood abandoned for 2 years. Computer is confused and with a fresh batterry it lights up with "engine disables" and similar warnings for brakes, air bags and tailgate.

This must have been asked some time already, but I can't find a reference - (87 RR efi) when the in-tank fuel pump packs up does it usually give some warning or just instantly die? TIA
