Another Freelander TD4 issue08 Jul 2008 15:33 GMT2
The experts here having solved the previous issue several days ago - I
hope they may do the same with this one.
My farmer neighbour recently bought a few years old Freelander TD4 -
with the current TD4 BMW engine.
Manby 2008 video08 Jul 2008 11:24 GMT1
Part of the winch challenge.
It was the first time I'd seen the winch challenge teams and was a bit
gobsmacked by what they could do.  For some unknown reason, though,
there's only one video on my phone though I took many.  Not great

All,
I have quite a lot of water coming in my 110, definitely through the
windscreen (well, from around it ;-) and probably from around the right
hand side roof window. (Oh, and the rear door window is also leaky, but
Bakewell06 Jul 2008 17:10 GMT2
Off to the Bakewell Show this weekend, not a Landrover show, but never
mind.
Anyone got any pointers for good green lanes in the area?  Anyone fancy
meeting up to do a few lanes?  Saturday would be best as 'the show'

rough running v804 Jul 2008 17:44 GMT10
I'm getting kind of peeved now.
Couple of weeks back had to tow the boss back, she was in the v8.  On

onto Bluebell hill she got 1/2 way up, and had to abandon the car in
Would this work - petrol & cooking oil???04 Jul 2008 15:51 GMT52
Due to the silly price of diesel I've been mixing cooking oil & diesel
in my TD300 - but of course the more cooking oil - the harder to
start, especially in cold weather so can't go much more than 50/50.
But what about going say 90/10 cooking oil/petrol. Would the petrol

Defender Rear Hub Bearings03 Jul 2008 18:54 GMT2
I was changing the brake pads on the Defender today, and noticed a fair bit
of play on the back wheels. Consulting the manual suggests that there are
two taper bearings on each hub. The only job listed in the workshop manual

Disco 2 SatNav01 Jul 2008 22:59 GMT3
I have a '52 plate Disco 2 ES with the SatNav fitted. It works fine in
as much as it always seems to know where I am. Which is more than I can
say for myself.
When I first got the car, I used this toy and generated a few routes.
