LT95 with wrong oil31 Mar 2009 07:37 GMT10
I have just opened up my spare LT95 gearbox to check the innards as its been
standing for 4 years. The one in the Hybrid is getting a bit clunky, hard to
engage gears and jumping out of low ratio when in reverse so replacement is
now due. The good news is the spare looks pristine ...
Hi30 Mar 2009 22:57 GMT9
Sorry I missed your call this morning, I was doing the shopping. Also
sorry to hear you are a bit fragile, I hope things have improved over
the course of the day. A bit chilly just to sit in the garden, and the
odd hail shower (at least up here) wouldn't have helped.
Could Fuel Tank Crack When Fitting New Sender?28 Mar 2009 21:14 GMT15
The sender needs replacing in my fuel tank, but because the part has never
been changed in 25 years (age of vehicle), I've been told the tank may crack
during the process.
Would that mean a new tank, or could it be 'patched up'?

Plumbing between heater matrix and cooling system   1990 RRC  3.928 Mar 2009 13:27 GMT12
I have finally replaced the heater matrix which burst last
September.   All I need to do now is reconnect the (new) flow and
return hoses between the matrix stubs and the pipes on the top of the
engine.

mine has many microscratches from the wipers and titchy pits/marks on it
(presumably this is partly due to being 10 years old).  They don't obviously
clean off, and are a pain when the sun's in yer face.
Anyone got any thoughts about whether they can be polished out, and if so

Are Fuel Tanks Unversal For Each Model?27 Mar 2009 14:48 GMT3
Would anybody know please if a fuel tank for a 1984 (B reg), 2 door, manual,
3.5ltr petrol, 80 ltr fuel tank Range Rover requires a specific
catalogue/parts number, or would a tank advertised just for a Classic RR be
suitable?
EAS remote25 Mar 2009 22:18 GMT5
Looks like it's dealer-only, and has to be programmed to talk to the
vehicle?
anyone confirm or deny, and suggest prices?
