Have just put some (second hand) freestyle alloys on my 300 tdi 90 and am
well chuffed - although looks aren't everything !!
One question asked "after the event"
Are l/r alloys heavier than original steels

Just noticed a fair oil leak has developed on my Disco 300tdi, leaking from
where the rear prop enters the diff. Only started after off-roading
yesterday.
Is it an easy fix please?

I seem to remember a brief thread about the rear windows not responding when
trying to open or close them.
I think the cause was a dry joint on a relay ??

draws it power from the black and red power sockets on a series dashboard?

fluid, but was sold Automatic transmission fluid instead (Acdelco, ATF Type

ISTR it being said that it was worth getting the TD5s put onto testbook and
recalibrated at intervals, to restore facture tune settings or somesuch.
is this true, or is it horseshit?  It's obviously going to cost to get it
done, but if it improves the running/power/economy than it'd ...
