| SRS light - 300tdi Range Rover | 19 Oct 2009 17:05 GMT | 3 |
It's a 1994, 300tdi Auto, with twin air bags, MA648*** The SRS light flashes for a few minutes, then settles to steady on. The battery had gone a bit flat after a few weeks non-use, I'd started it with a magic yellow box, then charged the battery overnight with a cheap

| Overworked left leg (clutch question). | 17 Oct 2009 17:02 GMT | 2 |
My 90 has always had a really hard clutch, which is something I accepted as part of its character. The problem is that a fall off my bike seems to have left some slight damage, which means my leg hurts occasionally after I use the Landy in traffic. It looks like I'm not the only ...

| Why does my TD300 (all diesels?) need a vacuum pump for the servo? | 12 Oct 2009 16:45 GMT | 5 |
I was wondering why does my TD300 (all diesels?) need a vacuum pump for the servo when pertrol engines don't - I would have thought that the vacuum on the inlet manifold would be much the same on both. Can someone enlighten me please? Is it because of the turbo?

OK, it turned up this morning. Convincingly tidily made loom which intercepts the plug to the injectors on the front corner of the engine, pity about the silly in-line fuse holder, would be a neater job to put a fuseholder in the unit itself, I'd've thought.

| Water leak | 08 Oct 2009 22:34 GMT | 15 |
Hi gang. A few weeks back I noticed that my 1994 P38 Range Rover HSE was losing water. I took it into my local specialists who discovered it was the seals to the heater matrix. These were replaced but it was also neccesary to replace the matrix too. I collected the car last ...

| Defender TD5 - worth a punt? | 08 Oct 2009 09:33 GMT | 5 |
I'm looking at swapping my Disco 300tdi off roader for a Defender 90 TD5, the one in question is a really nice example of a station wagon on a 1999 V Plate and is a good price at £6250. Only concern is that it has done 125k miles and has no service history. The chap selling seems ...
