How long did your ES300 last?
My 96 ES300 passed 110,000 miles last week. The car is still in very good
shape, but there are a few problems. The AC isn't as powerful as it should be;
is this model air conditioning prone to failure?  The right front power window

Can anyone tell me what type of tires come with the upgraded tire package on
the IS 300?  The size should be 215/45/17.  I've heard they are Bridgestone
Potenza RE040 Summer tires.  Can anyone confirm this? The websites do not
state the tire type nor does the brochure.  Anyone have ...

I was surfing the web and found a page that showed the ES330 with the ML
Audio and no Nav.  It was a Lexus dealer in Hawaii.  See:

Does anyone know what changes are expected for the 2005 ES330?  Is this
something that's well-known, or is it top secret stuff?

When engine is cold and I insert the key, an electrical whirring/whinning
noise comes from the transmission pan area.  The dealer says it sounds
like the transmission "accumualtor" is powering up.  They checked a couple
of other RX300s on the lot and they do it too.

Is there any way to make the nav system not put up the safety message?

My side view mirrors are too dark (RX300)
Manual says that I have to push a button on the inside rear view mirror , but it does not change anything??

My ES300 is a great combo of dark green and silver gray bottom. I'd like to
tint the side windows a dark silver grey. How much would this cost to do it
right? Does tinting make it too dark inside?  Thanks

My speedometer and odometer are dead.  I read that the problem can
relate to a dead vehicle speed sensor (VSS).  I looked under the
engine, under the tranny, and couldn't find where the VSS is located.
If the VSS is dead, then shouldn't the check engine light turn on?.

Sort of looks like Lexus has lost it. Drove the wife's ES300 down to the coast
to a couple of things. Steering wheel jumping around when I slowed down on the
freeway and the brakes bumping wildly while slowing down in towns. Of couse my
