Yesterday I got my two recall notices: The first lines were: 'Lexus is dedicated to the Passionate Pursuit of Pefection' and as such, they will replace may trannsmission and fuel pump. Of course, at no cost to me, just at may inconveneince!

Many (14000) 2004 LS430s are being recalled for new transmissions. This must be serious or Lexus would not be spending that kind of money. My LS is one being recalled, but of course there is more info on the 'net than the dealer has at this point.
