I am looking for a replacement for my tires. I have the Bridgestone Potenza
245-40-ZR18 Run Flat and they are very rough and loud. I am looking for a
better tire or somewhere I can get the trunk kit so I can use regular tires.
The kit is $1200.00 at the Lexus dealer. Anyone have any ...

transmission dipstick problem22 Dec 2004 05:25 GMT2
This afternoon I removed the transmission dipstick from my ES 300 to
check the fluid level, and I could not reinsert it.  After many tries,
it did go in.  I foolishly removed it again, and it is now impossible
to get it fully reinserted. It seems to hit something solid.
SC43021 Dec 2004 11:48 GMT4
Hello all. I'm seriously considering buying a new SC430.  Great car?
Any major problems? How's the ride on the open road? 300 HP more than
enough?  Thanks in advance.

I'm in the middle of getting that "light bulb burned out someplace"
indicator on my instrument panel turned off.
I finally took the time and effort to replace the left front turn

Bluetooth phone and nav system in 2005 LS 43018 Dec 2004 23:12 GMT1
Is there a fast way to get to the 1-touch dial screen? It seems to be
buried pretty deep in menus.
Is there a way to edit the name once it's in the 1-touch dial?
GS 400 vs BMW 54015 Dec 2004 01:07 GMT7
What are the advantages of a 400 over the 540?  I am in the market for a
performance sedan.
CAR PROBLEMS 1991 Lexus LS40013 Dec 2004 16:17 GMT4
My 1991 Lexus LS 400 has recently broke down.  It was operating fine
then suddenly the next day the car was dead.  Nothing would work, not
even the lights inside the car would come on.  The following day I
bought a new battery at Walmart and installed it myself.  The car

have yours replaced?
Free Navigation system upgrade for 04 vehicles?12 Dec 2004 00:10 GMT11
According to the supposedly authentic Toyota notification to owners of 04
Toyota Prius cars (see below), Toyota is providing a free Navigation system
map DVD upgrade, because of numerous errors in the 2004 maps:

lexus es300 leather seats11 Dec 2004 20:04 GMT7
I know some of you will consider this heresy, but I have two worn
and dirty front seats from a 1993 lexus es300.  I rescued these
from a body shop that replaced them with a used pair.
Unfortunately the body shop manager is a bit of a slacker, and he

I bought a new air filter but I can't easily get the air filter
cover off to replace it.  It looks like I need to disassemble
the thing that goes from the air filter to the engine intake.
IS300 allingment issues11 Dec 2004 06:34 GMT1
I was hit on the driver side by a car changing lanes who forgot there
might be other cars on the road.  We were not traveling fast, and I was
able to avoid most damage.  Only the fender was dinged and needed
repairs.  Insurance took its time to get settled, and when that finally
