So far have read may extremely favorable reviews on this auto. Are there negatives. and what price to pay. Durability over 150K miles. First items to fail, prices to repair. Parts prices compared to GM caprice.

| Regular Unleaded in a LS430? | 18 Jan 2005 03:28 GMT | 35 |
I've never owed a car that required Premium gas. I currently drive a Lexus ES 300, and it takes regular. I want to step up to a LS430, but just don't know if it "needs" premium. I work for a limousine company and our fleet is all Lincoln Town Cars.

| Oil gelling in RX series | 16 Jan 2005 21:08 GMT | 18 |
We purchases a 2005 Lexus RX330. I've been reading a different thread about the RX300 having an oil "gelling" problem that lead to engine failures. Was that problem fixed in a redesign for the RX330, or does the problem continue to exist?

| brake pads | 11 Jan 2005 22:53 GMT | 1 |
I used to work on my own Volvo 122S waayyyyy back when. I could change the brake pads in about 15 minutes simply by jacking up the car, popping off the circlips that held the pads in place, pushing the actuators out enough to get the new thick pads in place (which would cause brake ...

| Front rotors | 08 Jan 2005 03:58 GMT | 29 |
the front brake pads on my 2000 lexus rx300 are in need of replacement at 50,000 miles. The rotors look like they need a good turning to remove the glaze, does anyone here have experience with their front rotors warping? Has anyone tried the 'soft' ceramic pads from NAPA?
