Issue: Keeps killing Batteries.
Let it sit for a few weeks and it ruins the battery.
I put a ammeter in series with the battery cable and I have a small drain

All of a sudden while driving my SUV, the dial reads 3000 RPM when I am
going 60 MPH, and it reaches 4000 RPM at 70 MPH.  The transmission does not
shift into overdrive.  Had anybody experience the same problem?

Has anyone been using regular gasoline with any success or failures in 90s
Lexus LS400?

Hi everyone, my wife and I will be taking ownership of a 2001 ES300 later
this week.  It currently has only 7,500 miles on it so it looks and drives

Lexus are to launch the IS2.2 Diesel next year in the UK. Does anyone know
if an automatic gearbox will be an option with this car?

Anyone have a factory remote master key (for 2000 Lexus ES300)
they want to get rid of with the following FCC ID:
FCC ID: HYQ1512V
CANADA: 1551 102 539

My check engine light came on and the code was 0420.  The car runs fine and
aside from the light, I don't feel anything is wrong.  I had the mechanic
turn the light off.
Any thoughts on what it could be?  Something to do with 02 Sensor/Cat on

I know some years have LS 400 on the trunk lid but other years don't.  Has
anyone got a list of which years have a model number on them and which don't
and is there a way to tell the year?

Can someone tell me how to remove the front interior door panel from
the passenger side door?  i have all the fasteners removed, except one
I imagine.  There must be one i am missing or cant see.  Typically on
other door panels that i have removed once all fasteners are removed

The engine was running very smooth until we took it in for a tune up.
Mechanic suggested we change one of the engine mount and performed the
task. Now the car runs quite noisily, especially when gear is shifted, as
if it's throttling very high.

I just noticed today that the drive light 'D' is not
lit when I have transmission in 'drive' mode.  All others,
P - Park, R - Reverse, N - Normal, L - low gear and 2 - 2nd gear
light up when shifted into those modes.

I have owned this car for 4 years, before me 2 other owners, all local
to me. The car has been perfectly maintained. Right now it has 79,285
miles, I bought it with 27,000 miles. The two previous owners owned
multiple cars, thus the low miles. This has also been my second car.

I* have read the manual 3-5 times and follow instructions exactly, but still
the garage doors will not program, even though it does all the things it
says in the manual. Such as wait until the light blink quickly after holding
the 2 outer buttons, then holding the remote garage ...
