2005 RX330 DVD Navigation15 Aug 2005 19:40 GMT3
I own an 05 RX330 and so far I'm lovin' it.  I am curious to find the
location of the actual DVD player/reader/whatever it's called that has the
navigation DVD installed.  I know it's probably somewhere obvious but
sometimes I need to be hit with a board to see the obvious.
Bug residue removal15 Aug 2005 01:04 GMT7
After reading about *several* different auto detailing products that
supposedly specialize in bug residue removal, I really can't decide on one.
So, I thought that I would check in with other Lexus owners to see if there
is one particular product that stands out from the rest in ...

Buying 2005 Lexus SC43009 Aug 2005 21:26 GMT7
I was looking for advise in purchasing a new 2005 SC430
I got a quote today of $60,000.  Does anyone know if that is a decent
price? (I live in NY).  I was told all equipment was standard and there
were no extras.  The salesman said that the list price was 65,000.

Homelink doesn't learn code, RX30006 Aug 2005 22:27 GMT4
Just bought a 2002 RX300. I can't reprogram the Homelink to open my Genie
Excelerator garage door opener. My '99 Maxima programmed OK. The Lexus
Homelink seems to reset when I press and hold the outer two buttons. I press
the Learn/Train button on the Genie, then press the button ...
questions about gas mileage, warranty, and dealer service06 Aug 2005 00:54 GMT1
The listed HWY MPG for my is 300 is 20mpg. I assume that is at 60mph.
Any idea on what mpg is at 100mph?
The 30,000 mile service costs $650. Is it advisable to get this despite
the very high cost since my warranty is will run out in a couple
Differences between 2001 and 2002 RX300?04 Aug 2005 20:47 GMT2
Next weekend, we are planning to purchase either a 2001 or a 2002 RX300.
There seems to be plenty available at four local dealers here in Cincinnati.
Are there any significant differences between the two model years. I guess
"newest is best" is the rule of thumb.

SC400 Brake Pad Replacement04 Aug 2005 01:06 GMT1
We have had a 92 SC400 and a 91 LS400 (now gone).  On both these cars I have
been amazed by the life of the brake pads.
On the SC400 I just replaced the front brake pads for the second time at
181,200 miles.  I use the standard Toyota parts (PN 04465-24021; $45 at
gas type for '98 ES300?03 Aug 2005 00:56 GMT4
Can I use regular fuel on a '98 ES 300? I've read that you have to use
premium, but I've been told that the engine was made for regular since it's
the same as a Camry.
What's your opinion?
Which Gasoline Grade in GS300?02 Aug 2005 12:39 GMT6
Are we risking damage to our engine by not using the highest grade of gas?
We've been using the mid-grade of gas in our 1999 300GS since it was new.
We drive about 12,000 miles a year with an 80/20 mix of city/highway miles.
