Has anyone replaced the stock radio of the LS 400. I have a dash mounted
GPS unit, and the NYS troopers keep pulling me over because they think
that it is a radar detector. I am therefore, looking to replace it with
an indash motorized unit.

Yesterday we took our '91 LS 400 out early in the morning.  We used the rear
window defroster.  We didn't shut it off, but we turned off the key.  2
hours later we returned to find the window with a fine spider web of cracks
over the entire window,hot to the touch and a baseball ...

1.we have a 1999 gs 300 lexus that we bought new;
2.    we had it serviced regular but the lexus dealer up to about 100,000
miles;
3.    on the last service bill, i noticed $13 for a each spark plug and $60

There are some relatively big chips in the paint of my '98 ES300, and I'm
trying to find out what the exact color is. How do I go about doing that?
Also, how can I properly fill up those chips so that when I paint them,
everything's even?

transmission?  I've been looking for used ones, and haven't seen one in

Hi. my wife has a 99 Lexus ES 300. The car's idle is around 1200 rpm's which
is way above the normal 750 rpm. Does anyone know what would cause this
problem. I do have knowledge of automotive technology.

None of our local salvage yards say they have any LS wheels in inventory.
