I am in the process of replacing the tires on my '02 IS300 for the first
time. The front tires are worn quite a bit more on the inside than they are
in the center and outside surfaces. If it weren't for the excessive inside
wear I could probably squeeze another 2000-3000 miles out ...

I was wondering what other people pay for a 5000 mile service (when nothing
is wrong). I have an SC430 and mine runs about $300  once a year in North
Carolina. Is there a better way to do it ei Toyota or an independent?

I have an 2002 RX 300.  I seem to pick up every tar strip or minor
road imperfection both noise and feel.  I tried new Bridgestone
ALenza’s, but that did not help.  Is this typical with the RX300?

I have an sc430 and I am disappointed in the chipping on the front of the
car. I had a mercedes and jaguar and neither one of them chipped like the
Lexus. I have been told that Lexus' paint is soft. I know you can buy a bra
but they seems silly to me. I think Lexus should improve ...

The car has 80,000 and always serviced ... today the check engine
light came on.  Its running fine. It came on after I put gas in and I
did tighten the cap.  Any ideas.

I bought my 2003 RX in December 02 partly due to the great reputation
Lexus has for their service. Prevously,  I owned a 96 Infiniti and
Infiniti's service was impeccable. Ever since I bought my RX, I've
missed Infiniti's service.

A older neighbor lady has a 96 ES300 with only 12500 miles; I know this
to be accurate, and she is the original owner.  She may be giving up
driving and offer to sell the car to me.  I've driven it, and it seems
fine.  The only apparent problem with the car is the paint on the hood,
