Aftermarket iPod connectors06 Dec 2005 19:14 GMT4
I'm specifically asking about the new IS 350, but I'm guessing that
other Lexus systems will at least be similar.  Are there better
aftermarket connectors for iPods that will work, similar to the Dension
ice->link (http://www.dension.com/main.htm)?  I do not see Lexus as a
RX330 Reverse/Tilting Mirrors05 Dec 2005 19:26 GMT1
I own a 2005 RX330 w/Nav System.  I'm not sure if all RX330's or newer Lexus
models have this feature but when putting the car in reverse the mirrors
tilt down a little so you have a better view of the ground closer to the
car.  When it's working it's great.  I have a problem that ...
Jap Vin# vs.05 Dec 2005 05:37 GMT1
I was looking at 2005 RX330, with Vin #  starting with 2t2ha31u75c....
Is this normal.
Ithought all RX330 are made in Japan.  This VIN # does not start with
J.
Wrong Oil05 Dec 2005 02:22 GMT23
OK, I was cheap. I went for the $19.95 oil change at a local "PROCARE"
chain. I see from the invoice that they put 10-30W into my '02 ES300 instead
of the 5W-30 it says under the hood. Is this something to worry about?
Is an extended warrantee worth it?05 Dec 2005 02:20 GMT18
I have an '03 LS430 with 49000 miles on it.
I plan on keeping the car 2 more years until the new '07 comes out.
If I'm still under 50,000 miles, I can get a 100,000 mile extended
Lexus bumper to bumper warrantee for about $2300.
97LS400 power steering pump replacement05 Dec 2005 00:24 GMT4
Does anyone know a good place to buy a pump and a site that has good
directions on how to change one? It has been told to me that if I continue
to let it leak that it will ruin my alternator as the oil leaks onto the
alt. I have heard they are about 400 to 500 bucks, and hoses ...

I have sent this email already but doing this to make sure. My engine wont

work fine. LS400 1992
starting noise03 Dec 2005 18:09 GMT3
When we start my wife's 2003 ES300 there is a short loud moan or growl
which sounds like it is coming under the car under the driver just
before the motor turns over and the car starts.  Any ideas.

Tires for LS430? 03 Dec 2005 10:25 GMT2
The short version of my question is "what are good tires for my 2004 LS430
that won't wear out in 20,000 miles?". But there is a longer version and I
am posting this on both the general LS board and on the LS430-specific
board.
Question about maintainence03 Dec 2005 10:01 GMT6
Hi all.  PPL here are so helpful.  I want to say thank you before I
even get started with my question.  I own a 98 GS 300.  I bought it w/
42k miles and it now has 110k miles.  It has never been to the dealer.
I've done the brakes myself twice as well as coolant and oil changes
update to nav system pre DVD by Lexus question03 Dec 2005 09:37 GMT4
Does anyone know if Lexus will do the update to cars past the warranty
period for free?  There should be 2 free upgrades.  Does it need to be
the original owner?
Question for Lexus Parts03 Dec 2005 05:47 GMT5
I had a few questions regarding my 2002 RX300.
How often should the antifreeze be changed in this car?? I have read that the
first change should be done at three years and every two years thereafter.
Some in this forum claim that the Toyota red antifreeze lasts up to five
Tire sensor reset???02 Dec 2005 22:26 GMT13
Help Please!  I had a flat tire and after replacing it the
notification of low tire pressure stays on and I've combed the manual
but can't find the reset button.  The photo for the "with navigation
system" instruments shows buttons either beneath or near the ignition
