I almost bought a new 2006 330 until I became aware of the jerky tranny of
the ES 330. Well, I test drove one and didn't notice anything peculiar. Can
owners of 2006 330 comment?

I currently drive an 04 Accord and I am considering trading it in for
an 02 LS430.  My question is directed to toward the LS430 owners.  Are
there any specific items to look for when looking for one of these
certified pre-owned?  Any negatives about the car? Any praises?  Thanks

The clock in my 2000 RX300 has started to reset itself to 1:00am. This
usually happens after a clold night, or on really cold days when the car has
been sitting for a couple of hours.
Thinking it could be a dirty connection on the battery, I cleaned the posts

I am contemplating on buying the IS AWD or a BMW 5XX series.  From
what I can gather from reading all the rags on the alt.autos.bmw,
there are a lot more posts about owner problems than the lexus group.
Lexus owners are posting more inquiries than problems.

Right on the Lexus web site it says,
"Tires fitted with 17- or 18-in wheels are expected to experience
greater tire wear than conventional tires. Tire life may be
substantially less than 20,000 miles (17-in) or 15,000 miles (18-in),

Got my ' 90 LS400 snowbound in NC mountains last weekend.  Applied
(apparently) cheap snow chains which broke while attempting to drive
car out.   The broken chains were flopping about a good bit while
trying to back the car up a short icy hill.

Can someone measure the mounting points on the trunk for their factory
spoiler. I'm interested in knowing if the factory spoiler and the common
aftermarket spoilers have the same mounting points. I need the mesurement

Anyone have one yet?  I saw a IS250 up close at the dealer the other
day.  I was a bit underwhelmed considering the $33k sticker on it.
BMW 3series impressed me more at same price point.

I have a new to me 1992 Lexus Sc400
I had lost the key and the key code on the cylinder did not match the
lock.  So I had the locks rekeyed, and I had to drill out the ignition
cylinder lock and replace it with one from the junk yard.

I've been on the waiting list since November for an IS350 with the
Luxury Package, Mark Levinson Sound, and Navigation.  The color combo I
am interested in is hard to come by around here, and one has arrived
that has everything I want except is has the Sport Package.

Anyone know who can repair the tape player in Houston- it accepts the tape,
tries to play on either side, then ejects

My 2001 LS 430 with the Pearl white color has a few scrapes on the lower
front bumper.  High curbs got me. Rather minor but I want to touch it up.
Paint source???  Anyone in this area (DFW) that does EXCELLENT touch up work
for minor scratches and paint dings??

Hi.  
Can or does the fine hair debris from an electric shaver mess up anything electronic in a car?  

I'm wanting to replace the radio in my 1997 ES300 and I cant figure out how
to start removing and geting to the radio.  Is there any books or anybody
that can tell me hot to get into the dashboard and remove the radio.
