| LS430 18 vs 17 tire noise | 29 Aug 2006 05:32 GMT | 6 |
I just got an 06 LS430, with 18in wheels. I wanted 17" wheels, but they were nowhere to be found. The noise level in the car is fine when travelling on clean roads, but it is higher than I like on concrete, bad pavements, etc

| RX350 windshield distortion | 28 Aug 2006 13:55 GMT | 10 |
Is this a common problem in the Lexus RX350? I had a very unsatisfying experience today at the Lexus dealership. I wanted to get a new windshield for my new RX350 because of distortion. Basically I was told that it's normal or common and they've replaced some before only to find ...

| Changing the transfer case oil - 2002 RX300 | 27 Aug 2006 22:45 GMT | 3 |
I'm having problems locating the fill plug for the transfer case. I believe I've found the drain plug (just off from the transmission drain plug). I found both the drain and fill plugs for the rear differential. This looks easy except that filling the oil may require

| RX 330 | 25 Aug 2006 01:14 GMT | 3 |
I owned and RX 300 for four years, now own a GX 470, and soon will be selling the GX as it is loaded with problems. I drove a RX330 today as a possible replacement for the GX. The interior was nice, but that was it. Am I missing something?

| Premium vs. Regular Gas. | 24 Aug 2006 22:05 GMT | 40 |
Are there any luxury cars (Audi, Lexus, Acura, Infinity, BMW, Mersedes, etc.) that run on regular gas (i.e., designed to run just fine on regular 87 gas without problems)? I see that even the cheapest models like Acura TSX and Lexus IS 250

| Can a GS430 Still be Ordered from Factory? | 23 Aug 2006 16:34 GMT | 2 |
My two silly dealers say no, but they are boneheads that know nothing about the car. Can one still be ordered or is production for 2006 done? TIA, Dan

| No Buliding the GS430? | 22 Aug 2006 22:47 GMT | 4 |
When I went to look at the GS430 (which was recently reviewed in my local paper and Business Week), the dealer said it is discontinued with only limited supply left on lots (the dealer didn't have one!). So Lexus is going to go without a V-8 sports sedan until the GS460 is

| On demand cooling fan in GS300 MK-I? | 21 Aug 2006 04:08 GMT | 6 |
With many if not most cars, I can hear a temperature controlled cooling fan start to run when I stop the car and switch it off. It continues to run for a little while. As far as I know, that is meant to ensure that the engine can slowly loose its heat after being stopped, because ...

| Stalling Problem | 21 Aug 2006 00:18 GMT | 2 |
I had a couple of problems with my '93 ES300: rough idle, hesitation when going down the road, and stalling when stopped. I took the car in to my local mechanic, and now everything's fixed except for the stalling problem. It doesn't do this all the time, just from time to time ...

The latest J.D. Power and Associates 'Vehicle Dependability Study' results were released this week. For the 12th straight year Lexus took top honors. They were followed by Mercury, Buick, Cadillac and Toyota to round out the top 5 brands. I have to say that Mercury's number 2 ...
