Frankly I think the day time running lights are a pain. They irritate
me when I see them on. Just burning up useless fuel and making us more
dependant on the Mid East and big oil companies. So if someone can turn
them on for a 470, why can't I turn them off on my 06 LS430? And NO - ...

I bought a used 2005 RX 330 but it did not come with the luggage cover.  I
would like to find a used one (if feasible) from maybe a salvage yard, etc...
vs having to buy one directly from LEXUS for $500-$600.  Anyone have an idea
of how get one that is used, etc... Thanks.

Just dropped my car off for 90k service. They will replace the timing belt,
water pump and spark plugs. Local specialty Lexus shop is doing the work for

Before I bring my wife's 1998 es300 for an idling start up problem, I'd
thought I'd try and get some advice.
Basically, her car will start, but dies as soon as you take your foot
off the gas pedal.  It seems driveable, but you have to keep the rpm's

I have the ultradelux package on an 06 LS430 so it should be the
ultimate with great everything. When it was raining I turned on the
wipers. There is a slow, a fast, and an automatic speed. The slow is
not slow. The fast is fast, but not fast enough to clear a downpour.

For anyone wanting more high-level inputs to the 2002-2003 ES300, I have
good news.  I took a chance on a relatively new product called AUXLEX from
Soundgate.  It harnesses directly into the factory radio and adds 2
additional high-level inputs via rca jacks.  I wired in my XM ...

Can anyone tell me the location of the PCV valve on the Lexus 2000
RX300?  I picked up a new PCV valve today and they gave me a 90 degree
elbow pcv with 2 openings, does this sound right?

I took a '96 Lexus LS300 in for an oil change.  It seems they added 5
quarts, but not take old oil out.  
Within a few miles I was blowing so much smoke that there are bugs left in
Northern Virginia.  

so my wifes RX300 was hit this week, in the rear, looks like the
bumper was dislodged onto the road.

I just purchased a 2007 ES 350 and have a question about the Nav/ touch
screen.
Is there a way to program/ override the initial "warning----I agree" screen
so you do not have to touch it every time you start up and drive?

Lately, the roof of my car has been leaking (where the rear view mirror
and the lights are) when it rains alot.  I took it to an auto glass
shop and they tell me that the the windshield is tight so the leak
isn't from there. But he did mention that the sunroof has some tubes
