Well this started last Friday... I guess 2007 hasn't been that great for the

When I press on the brake, it is a crap shoot whether I can shift out of
park.  Of course I CAN always use the release button ... and THAT works 100%

GS 430, still on the original factory brake pads and in this cold
weather the brakes squeal annoyingly when I press on the brakes.  Does
not seem right for a "luxury car". Any solutions?

Our '92 LS 400 is going to need new brake pads soon and this may be a great
opportunity to upgrade from just "regular" pads to something that may
improve the mediocre brake performance the first generation LS had.
