Where is the outside temperature probe in RX300 located?18 Feb 2008 04:30 GMT3
Just curious to know. The temperature probe which records the outside
temperature must be located outside of the car's interior? Where is it
located? Under the hood of the car or upfront in the radiator area?
I noticed that there is one or two sensors inside the car's front
Exhaust Deflectors - ES 35018 Feb 2008 04:29 GMT1
The exhaust deflectors (shiny metal extensions on the end of the tail
pipe) are showing rust and corrosion on the inside. This is visible
from the outside and detracts from the car's appearance (2007 ES-350).
Any reason why these should look so bad after 10,000 miles? Are there
Two Questions About My 04 RX33014 Feb 2008 04:52 GMT3
I bought an 04 RX330 last August (07). We love the car. Two questions
1. Can I stop the outside mirrors from tilting down when I put the car
in reverse? If so how?
2. When I start the car at night I notice the xenon lights turn on,

How old is too old?08 Feb 2008 14:05 GMT4
I'm thinking of importing a 1996 Toyota Windom (Lexus ES300) from Japan
to New Zealand. This particular vehicle has travelled 95,000km (59,000
miles). My only concern is the back lit instrument cluster. How long do
these last on average before they start showing problems? The car is
98 ES300 Tail light not working08 Feb 2008 01:22 GMT5
Hi Smart Guys -
My taillight (on the hood) for 98 ES300 is not working. The right side
works, but the left side does not work. Can it be fuse problem or
wiring or blub problem. The bulb looks fine.
Strut Mount Bushing03 Feb 2008 21:29 GMT3
1999 ES300 Non Adaptive suspension, Strut mount bushing.
Can this bushing be installed from the top of the car?
I see under the hood on the fender there are three studs coming through
holding the strut in place with a cap type cover.
300ES Clunking Front Wheel02 Feb 2008 23:51 GMT1
1999 ES300 will make clunking noise when hitting bumps at 30-50mph.
Coming from front right only No driving bad habits just noise over bumps on
that one side.
Sounds like a pipe is loose but isn't.
Hub Cap topless02 Feb 2008 20:25 GMT1
I have an IS with a real spare(a god thing). However, there is no logo
in the middle of he wheel so there is a hole. Rain is making the shaft
rusty. Is this how it will be?
