Parking Brake problem is resolved but now there is a NEW PROBLEM28 Jan 2009 03:37 GMT6
I brought my Lexus to my highly competent Toyota dealer today for the
80k service and repair of the parking brake problem from a previous
post. The gentleman who serviced the vehicle said the parking brake
cable was hanging up and he lubricated it. He said everything else was
Lexus NAV 8.124 Jan 2009 06:58 GMT1
Hi, I recently got a card from Lexus saying there is a new NAV DVD
available. The version is 8.1. I have a 2002 ES300 and a 2006 LS430,
both with NAVs.
Is it just a simple matter of purchasing the DVD disks from Lexus and
New HS 250h24 Jan 2009 04:36 GMT1
I suspect that other Lexus owners also got an email from Lexus announcing
the new HS 250h, the first Lexus available only as a hybrid.  For those who
didn't get the email, here's the Lexus website link about the HS 250h.

Noise from suspension20 Jan 2009 21:24 GMT1
I have a 2002 ES300. When I repeatedly press down on the front of the
car so that it bumps up and down, I hear a noise that appears to come
from the suspension. It does not happen when I press down at the rear
of the car.
dim instrument lights16 Jan 2009 19:36 GMT6
Hi all:  I have an 03 GS 300 with about 65k miles.  I noticed the
instrument panel lights are only about half as bright as they were a
few days ago.  The dimmer control knob still works and gives me a
range from no lights to about half as bright as before.  It seems that
03 RX300.. is my problem with the BRAKES or the DRIVELINE?15 Jan 2009 05:15 GMT10
I have an RX300  AWD with 80,000 miles. Recently, about 1/5 of the
time when I shift into then accelerate, I hear a "Whining" sound from
the rear, and the RX moves slowly and feels like it is dragging. To
me, it feels like the rear brakes aren't releasing fully. If I shift
Tire cupping14 Jan 2009 14:29 GMT9
Does anyone else have problems with the ES330 causing tires to cup?? I have
a 2005
model year, and have now ruined the 2nd set of tires with a cupping
problem.. Vehicle
Review: 2008 Lexus IS-F Take Two14 Jan 2009 13:35 GMT2
Can we forget the BMW M3 for a moment? If you analyze the IS-F from a evo-lutionary perspective, the highly-horsed Lexus four-door is a loser. Looks, handling, pedigree, charisma, horsepower-- the IS-F is the Bimmer's bitch. Instead, imagine approaching the IS-F as I did, after ...

Replacing 2002 ES300 rear sub-woofer09 Jan 2009 03:20 GMT1
I am getting a fluttering sound from the rear speaker of my 2002
ES300. Anyone has instruction on how to replace either the rear
speaker or the subwoofer? I heard the rear seats have to come off.
Thanks
Driver seat06 Jan 2009 01:15 GMT2
I have a 2003 RX300.  The electric driver seatback adjustment will not
move the seatback forward; I hear a rapid clicking as if a gear is
stripped or broken.  I can't figure out how to remove the plastic
cover to see what's going on.  Or is there a manual override so I can
transmission fluid change on 05 ES06 Jan 2009 01:10 GMT5
I have an 05 ES 330 32k miles due for service. Maintenance schedule calls
for brake fluid change but no mention of transmission service until 60k
miles (aside from checking it). I do find this a bit odd.  I do plan on
requesting the transmission service given the lousy nature of ...
Tyre wear on  IS20002 Jan 2009 20:37 GMT11
I've just had a £197 shock by having to have two new front tyres. As
the car has barely 10000 miles on the clock couldn't believe it. Is
this normal for a Lexus? Or am I a 66 yr old boy racer burning rubber
at every opportunity? I've had the car from new and it has suffered
P0135: O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)01 Jan 2009 02:15 GMT7
I live in Austin and own a 2001 LS 430 that I bought last year. For
the most part, the car has run beautifully; credit to the gentleman
that owned it before me.
I took the car in for a state inspection the other day and it failed
