Miata radiator11 May 2004 01:32 GMT8
I don't think my earlier post went through, if so, please excuse the
reduncancy.
I have a 2000 Miata, not spent much time under the hood, and I just noticed
that  the radiator "floats" and has rubber bushings at the top. Mine seems
Miata radiator question11 May 2004 01:12 GMT1
Havent yet spent much time under the hood of my 2000, but recently noticed
that the radiator "floats" and has rubber bumpers or inserts at the top. My
question is how much play should there be in the radiator.. how much should
it move? It seems loose but maybe this is normal. Any ...
Question For 2003 LE Owners09 May 2004 16:58 GMT2
I have an important question to ask of all 2003 LE owners: Did your Mazda
window sticker state your audio system includes 6 BOSE speakers? Please
check your sticker (if you kept it) and let me know if it did. FYI, the '03
LE I picked up a few weeks ago did have that statement on the ...
dealer service...I'm pissed!08 May 2004 00:36 GMT4
I  experienced a CEL about two months ago that I noted here
on the NG. It was a EGR failure. Took it to be fixed and
when I finally got it back (two hours later), the CEL was
out and  it passed the State Safety Inspection. I thought
Top down, windows up.  Uuughhh07 May 2004 14:47 GMT43
My wife and I were riding in my '97 yesterday with the top down and
she wanted to put the windows up so her hair wouldn't get so "mussed."
Geeez.  It's not as if she were 80.  I told her that to do so is a
serious  violation of the convertable code of ethics.  Then we saw a
Grease for swaybars07 May 2004 01:08 GMT4
My swaybars are really squeeky. What kind of lubricant should I use on the

Can't open door05 May 2004 08:57 GMT2
I've got a '91 model MX-5 / Miata. Yesterday I found I couldn't unlock the
driver's door from the outside or inside. It's key lock only (no remote or
central locking).
I'm figuring it's something fairly basic and straight forward to fix ... if
The dreaded crankshaft problem05 May 2004 06:34 GMT2
I have an early 91 that is over due for a timing belt. What is the problem I
hear about a cracked crankshaft, and does EVERY 90 and early 91 have this
problem and have to be fixed? Is the fix very expensive?

from a young lady who had it from new,  sold it when she married a guy with
a Jag.

Rear window replacement04 May 2004 15:27 GMT1
What is the easiest way to replace the rear plastic window on a '97.  Top is
still very good.  Actually only the stitching has broken on my window, the
plastic is still clear.  Is a Mazda OEM part the best way to go or an after
market one.  I have heard there is a problem with ...

Brakes wearing wedge shape03 May 2004 17:51 GMT4
Hello ... Just discovered this group. I own a 1990 Miata, purchased Feb
91. I've put 150,000 km on it so far without a problem. ....Except...
I've had to get the rear brake pads replaced 3 times due to their
wearing wedge shaped. ...One end of the pad would be full thickness; the
