Recently had the rear window replaced (have moved to different state and can't go back to installer) The zipper was difficult to zip up but with care it wasn't a big deal. That is until I got caught in a frog strangler the other night. Will trying to zip the back window in the ...

| Mazda 6 - Did I buy a FORD!?! | 30 Jun 2004 16:05 GMT | 9 |
Just noticed that my new Mazda 6 was manufactured in FLINT, MI and has already had 4 recalls. Mine just went in to have the HVAC fan unit replaced - and the replacement part was . . . Broken. So, they couldn't install it and I'm waiting for another, hopefully operational (meaning ...

| Leon's Huge Nipples | 30 Jun 2004 15:28 GMT | 2 |
Sorry, just trying to combine threads for a little chuckle. Why were things so quiet from the spammers and now all the groups are being targeted? Just curious and my apologies to Leon. Tom

| Chrome fuel door problem | 30 Jun 2004 15:07 GMT | 7 |
I bought the Mazda chrome fuel-filler door for my '99, and it looks great, but the door does not work correctly. When you pull the lever inside the console, the door doesn't 'spring' open like the stock door; you have to manually pry it open, like with your fingernail or something ...

| Mazda S-plan pricing - can you do better? | 29 Jun 2004 04:32 GMT | 1 |
My company is in the Ford Partner Recognition plan, which gives me access to the s-plan, which seems to be the same as the Edmunds.com invoice pricing. Supposedly, the dealer is also compensated by Ford(?) - and is for some reason prohibited from offering any additional discount, or ...

| Did I pass up a good deal? | 29 Jun 2004 04:30 GMT | 1 |
I offered a used car salesman $13,500 for a 2001 Dark Blue Miata LS, 53,000 miles. The car was in very good condition except for the tires. It also had a roll bar installed. He wanted 14,500. I passed. What do you think?

| Rough Idle Question | 28 Jun 2004 17:02 GMT | 4 |
I've got a '90 with 102K and have developed a really rough idle. Not much of a wrench-turner, but looking for advice as to what may cause this. Sometimes stalls coming to a stop and sounds like it's missing in 1st on acceleration. Up at speed seems to run fine, but do notice a ...

| Emulating Leon | 28 Jun 2004 01:47 GMT | 4 |
Don't know why I couldn't have picked living in a place with year-round good weather, chose to install a supercharger, picked a career that provides tenure, or even bought a white Miata. Instead I chose to leave the oil filler cap off after changing the oil on the '97 last weekend.

| Driving schools | 27 Jun 2004 19:46 GMT | 8 |
I am interesting in becoming a better street driver in my '01, and was wondering if anyone has attended any schools that they could recommend. I am not too interested in track driving. I am in central PA and would prefer somewhere not too far away.

| Weak Stream? | 27 Jun 2004 01:29 GMT | 2 |
The stream of fluid from one of my windshield washer jets is weak (e.g., doesn't make it above the wiper). I think the problem is the little valve in the hose that feeds the jet (e.g., when I switch the valves from one side to the other, the weak stream changes sides). Problem is ...

| Removing door panel 2000 Miata | 26 Jun 2004 01:06 GMT | 5 |
I have looked at Miata-net to find out about removing interior door panels on a Miata. All seem to deal with older Miatas. Is there any info posted on removing the door panels on a 2000? (Or can someone who has done this on a 2000 give specific info?)
