| Fuel injector maintenance? | 25 Jun 2004 21:30 GMT | 10 |
I have a 2002 Miata with 10,000mi. on it and I'm taking it in for routine maintenance. I called to make an appointment with the Mazda dealer to have the oil and oil filter changed (did so at 500mi., 3000mi., and 6000mi.) and the tires rotated (also had that done at

| HAD to get a jump start... | 25 Jun 2004 05:01 GMT | 1 |
I know a Miata's battery is supposed to be trickle charged if it gets totally discharged, but I had no choice but to get a jump start today on my '97 and drive it 'till it charged. I left the parking lights on for eight hours, so I'm sure it was totally discharged. It seems to

| 1999 or 2001 | 24 Jun 2004 12:13 GMT | 6 |
Hi, I'm thinking of buying a Miata. I have a choice of a 1999 with 76,000 for 11,500 or a 2001 with 56,000 for 15,500. For those of y ou that know, which is a better value. I don't know the differences between the years and how much driving differences it would make.

Will be replacing the top on a 96 in the near future. I am thinking a Robbins vinyl with glass window, but I am not set. Any opinions on the following subjects: Vinyl vs canvas. I like the look, is it worth the money? It will see a lot of rain. Plastic vs glass. Does glass ...

| Title Worries | 23 Jun 2004 01:37 GMT | 2 |
I thought I was finally going to get my Miata- a 96 Montego with the P.E.P. and 54,000 miles. The carfax report says 4 owners. Car, a lease, started out in Wis. then registered in TN. Sold at auto auction (midwest region). Next 3 owners all here in MN. My question: Is TN known ...

| oil change | 23 Jun 2004 01:33 GMT | 5 |
This is probably a question that has been posted many times before. But, since I can't find the older articles any longer, here it is again. If I need to do an oil change, which oil (brand?) would most Miata owners recommend? Any comments about the filter also?

| 38 lb? | 23 Jun 2004 00:08 GMT | 11 |
I found my car was driving a bit funny on the Interstate, (got on there by mistake, and was trying to get off quick,) so I checked the tire pressure. Was 38 psi - 0.5 psi all around. There is a long story of hell and doom on the tire wall (Yoko ES 100) about inflating above 40 psi, ...

Since I stopped commuting daily and am using my Miata for quick trips around town, after the last 15K miles, the brake pad on the left (passenger side) began to squeal and it is now time for new front pads after nearly four years and 25k miles. My problem is the mechanic also

| Replacement seat | 21 Jun 2004 03:01 GMT | 2 |
Anybody had any experience with replacing a Miata seat? Specifically, the driver's seat is just plain worn out (i.e., the foam's to a frazzle, and the brackets are poking) and my bony rear is beginning to complain.
