1996 MX5 with 1800 motor. When I stop the RPM drops to 1200- 1400 RPM and sits at that for about 6 seconds then slowly falls to it's normal 750-800 RPM . I unplugged the electronic controller and blipped the accelerator and it drops immediately back to 750 -

I am hearing a high pitched whine when driving in my 2000 Evo Orange Miata, between 30-70 kms, but *only* on wet roads. When the weather is dry, I don't hear a peep from it. Has anyone run across this?
