Fuel smell13 Jun 2004 19:48 GMT4
As of late we are experiencing an awkward fuel smell in the interior and
the boot of our Miata right after filling her up. We take care not to
spill any fuel, but this does not seem to solve the problem. Apparently,
there is no leak, since our garage floor stays clean. Should we ...

Thanks,

Design flaw Miata11 Jun 2004 02:57 GMT37
I was taking a picture today when I decided I was to far from the right spot and
that it would be better to drive there than to walk.  Turning back  to the car,
still with its engine running, I noticed a thick, dark black-brown, stripe over
the hood all the way from the front to the ...
Monster Garage next Monday has a Miata in it10 Jun 2004 17:16 GMT10
Hey all, I was watching TV last night and saw a preview for Monster Garage next
Monday. They're apparently turning a Miata into a rocket car. Hope it turns out
better than when they destoryed the convertible RX-7.

Road trip summary10 Jun 2004 06:53 GMT9
Well, I'm back home after a very good trip. Around 2500+ miles and I added
two states to my CV (Arizona & New Mexico). My brother in law drove his
trusty '92 mariner blue and I drove my '97 black & tan. Drove from Seattle
to Boise, then to Vernal Utah for to visit Dinosaur National ...
blocked  AC evaporater case10 Jun 2004 03:07 GMT1
I had posted a few weeks ago about a blocked AC drain, and appreciate
the help. Several people suggested a coat hanger to clear out debris after
removing the drain hose, and others suggested blowing it out with
compressed air.
rough idle...09 Jun 2004 01:48 GMT1
I've a '93 1.8 eunos roadster that idles roughly and stumbles after warming
up. When on the open road she seems to have loads of power but as I haven't
driven another one I've nothing to compare it with.
I've already replaced the plugs and leads which made no difference. Also
97 oil press. gauge08 Jun 2004 23:01 GMT3
I know that the oil pressure gauge is a fake and is in reality just an
analog idiot light, but how can it still read normal oil pressure with
the sender unit wire disconnected from the sender unit?  If the sender
unit grounds the wire with normal a oil pressure condition, then a
Clutch peddle Squeak any ideas?08 Jun 2004 03:17 GMT3
Clutch peddle has high frequency squeak that comes and goes when peddle
pushed. Tried silicon and W2 but no effect. Any ideas? It's a 94 with
positraction and special handling suspension only 15K miles.
M1 Top with Glass Window08 Jun 2004 03:08 GMT3
My M1 is due for a new top.
I want something like the M2, a glass window which can be topdown easily
(i.e do not need to unzip first)
Anything good in the market?
Next level above stock shocks07 Jun 2004 23:46 GMT2
I'm not looking for adjustable shocks. I just want better than the Miata
stock shocks on my 1991 Miata.
How are the Tokico HP shocks, compared to the stock ones:

Air filter cleaning07 Jun 2004 21:17 GMT1
I have an after market  reusable air filter on my Miata. The cartridge has
to be washed and oiled. Can anybody tell me what's involved in this.
Thanks

6 3/4 speakers06 Jun 2004 16:07 GMT1
Well, my husband decided to put 6 3/4 speakers in the Miata, but... is not
having trouble getting them in right. I know, 6 1/2 is the right size, but
he wanted better sound. So, has anyone else tried this with any success?
