Any places on the net sell parts from junked Miatas?11 Jul 2004 16:19 GMT4
This just happened... Driving down the highway and a piece
of... something... flies off a huge RV in front of me. Tried to avoid
it but no go... BAM! I thought it had just bounced off the windsheild
and I got away unhurt but when I got home I was the passenger side

Any comments/opinions on the spy photo of the next generation Miata on page
58 of the August edition of Car and Driver?
Test drove a 1999.  Is the noise normal?09 Jul 2004 00:59 GMT9
I test drove a 1999 Miata, 73K miles.  The car was in great shape, but
between 35 and 50 mph, there was a noise, probably tire noise,
woowoowoowoowoowoowoo, so loud that I couldn't hear the radio.  The guy said
it has always been that way.  Is this true?  It faded as you reached 55.
Dashboard Rocker Switches?08 Jul 2004 23:14 GMT7
My 1992 Miata has three switch sockets to the left of the steering wheel.
The center one contains the dashboard lamps dimmer switch and the other
two are empty.  Does anyone know where I could get a rocker switch that
would fit one of the other openings?  My dealer cannot seem ...
Oh man.08 Jul 2004 17:41 GMT11
Howdy.
So I bought some new tires (Yokohama ES100's) and some replacement brake
pads (EBC Greenstuff Road/Sport) and yesterday I had the local tire shop
install them, along with an oil change.

2002 Miata info needed07 Jul 2004 04:35 GMT13
OK, guys-gals-other, I'm looking at a replacement for the late-lamented
Rollerskate.
Yes, I've checked the Mailing list archives, the TSBs and model year
comparisons on Miata.Net and the various forums that might contain the info
What gauges to add?06 Jul 2004 02:37 GMT10
I've decide to fill in the empty single-din slot in my 2003
with three 52mm "gauges": a clock, voltmeter and maybe an
oil-pressure gauge.  What range is recommended for
oil-pressure? The VDO series I'm looking at comes in 80, 100
Headlight plug05 Jul 2004 22:33 GMT6
Has anyone had a the plun in to the headlight melt down? mine have melted
to the point of not connecting so the headlight will not turn on - The
dealers answer is to replace the whole harness for about 2K.
nasty sound in upper part of engine05 Jul 2004 20:10 GMT4
hopefully I haven't done something real stupid. Friday I drove the miata to
work, took it into town in the heat of the day, ran great. Parked it and
left it an hour or two, started it and it had a real nasty sound that seemed
to be coming from the cam area. Like things were running ...
(New Owner) Tips please05 Jul 2004 09:11 GMT2
My daughter has just bought a 2 year old MX5 (we are in the UK). I would
welcome some tips from the experts on the best way to care for and to clean
the folding roof. The manual talks of washing with soap!
Headlight bushings?05 Jul 2004 00:51 GMT2
Does anyone know where I can locate the headlight pivot bushings for a
94 Miata? I added the low profile headlight kit a few years ago and now the
one headlight bounces up and down quite a bit (approximately 1/2 inch) when
it is up at street speeds. It looks like the pivot ...

I Just Did a Bad Thing...
My wife and my oldest daughter went off to see the circus, leaving the
Exhaust rear box to allow mounting the spare wheel from underneath?04 Jul 2004 21:21 GMT4
Evening all,
it looks like I'll be the (hopefully) proud owner of a '91 Eunos
Roadster soon. Can't wait, but it'll be another three weeks until I'll
get my hands on it.
