San Marcos TX roads18 Aug 2004 02:35 GMT6
Made a quick trip to San Marcos, TX to deliver my daughter to college and I
caught glimpses of seriously curvy roads and I know that there are awesome
roads there. I'll be doing more research but, as part of that research, I'm
wondering if we have some people with first hand (or ...
FM Ubercharger released18 Aug 2004 02:31 GMT6
Check out the dyno plot (PDF) on this page:

I kinda like the "product photo" too. Lose your driver's license in
style!
Oil drip after service?17 Aug 2004 09:51 GMT9
I've just had a 12,000 mile service done on my 1991 Eunos and since getting
it back something's been dripping from under the hood. It looks like oil
(rather than water, brake fluid or whatever), but I've checked all of the
various fluid levels after leaving the car parked overnight ...
Resolution of Door Rattle14 Aug 2004 20:40 GMT2
Last month I posted a message about the persistent rattle in the driver door
of my '03 SE, present ever since I had bought the car new.  Thanks to the
group, I was informed about a service bulletin covering this very issue:

looking for a 99 in Vegas / So Cal / Phoenix....13 Aug 2004 01:51 GMT2
I'm hunting for a 99 Miata somewhere within about 300 miles of Las Vegas
that's a decent car at a decent price.
No automatics, Stick only!  I'd like to have some features (like power
windows, etc) but if the price is right, I'd consider anything.
squeel12 Aug 2004 23:16 GMT5
Every once in a while, I hear a high pitched squeal form my 1990 Miata...
it's worse if the A/C is on, and accompanied with a hiccup in power then,
but it's started doing it now without the air on & with no hiccup then.
What's wrong?
Exhaust emissions for UK MOT11 Aug 2004 22:03 GMT1
This is a question for anyone in the UK really. My MX5 is about to go to its
MOT. It's a 1991, and though it's got a cat, I'm pretty sure it got fried at
one point since the last MOT. Does anyone know whether it's likely to pass
the MOT emission test anyway? I remember reading that ...
Popping Sound with Clutch and Broken Plastic Piece Possibly to Depress Sensor10 Aug 2004 05:14 GMT1
I sure hope that some of those diehard Miata mechanics can help me. Today I
was driving my 1990 Miata down the road, depressed the clutch and felt
something hit my foot. Further investigation indicated that this was a green
disc (or rather the remaining pieces of a green disc). Also ...
Speaker adapter plates in the UK?09 Aug 2004 20:39 GMT3
So far, the UK-ising of the Eunos Roadster I bought recently is going
OK. It had had all the basic mods done that are required to get the
car registered here, but the 'nice' bits like a working stereo weren't
present.
MPV and Air Conditioning Question08 Aug 2004 13:36 GMT1
I have a low-mileage 2001 MPV.  Recently, major water condensate leaks from
the AC began to suddenly occur within the cabin, from underneath the dash.
This leak occurred when the AC was operating on "outside circulation".  A
check later by the dealer indicated that contamination ...
