fog light bulb acess?21 Sep 2004 06:36 GMT2
Because Miatas are nearly invisible, I like to drive with headlights AND fog
lights on all the time.  Problem is, the fogs last less than a year this way
and the manual says "see dealer", which I do, under warantee (it expires
soon!).    I have an 02 SE snd it's not obvious how to ...

Advice on buying new MazdaSpeed or modifying 93'21 Sep 2004 00:17 GMT14
I have a black and tan 93' with about 100k on the odometer. I've loved
having it for the last three years and have toured the country with it
every summer--about 25k's worth of driving. It's pretty loaded, PS,
PW, CC, PM, AC, etc. though I don't really use AC much and don't
LA-area mechanics?20 Sep 2004 16:02 GMT1
I recently moved from the Bay Area down to the LA-area (Claremont,
to be specific).   I've always taken my Miata to PR Motorsports --
they provide good service at a reasonable (if not discount) price,
are completely trustworthy, and provide heaps of good advice

Thinking of adding cruise control to my '97.  Would prefer to go stock

Size of lock nut of front hub? Where to get it?19 Sep 2004 02:12 GMT5
I broke a lug on the front wheel when I tried to loosen the lug nut.
To replace the lug/hub, I started disassemble the front hub. Now I am
stuck by the lock nut of the front hub. I tried the largest socket
(27mm) and it still won't fit.

Where's the best place to find a NEW TOP ??18 Sep 2004 05:31 GMT4
Any reccomendations on where to get a new top and window for a 95 Miata?
Also, what's needed to put in a glass window ?    I'm thinking as long as
the top's getting replaced it may be nice to put in glass . (unless it's too
cost prohibitive).

Last I wrote my 2000 Miata was broken down (stopped running and would not

pump relay and computer to no avail, they diagnosed the problem as damage to
the fusebox and wiring somehow caused by the after ...

Hey folks-
My 91 Miata (155K) is making an awful racket, seemingly from the left

when I let off the gas and coast, the noise comes, a "Clunk Clunk
Are glass rear windows standard?16 Sep 2004 00:19 GMT9
Starting to think if I can afford to sell my aging Honda, I want to
look seriously at a Miata. Was wondering if the recent NB models have
glass rear windows, or is that strictly aftermarket?
Also, what tips for soft top preservation (other than a car cover,
