Hello friends at rec.autos.makers.mazda.miata, I have a Miata with black interior and the door panels, steering wheel, and the inside of the convertible top are faded. Any suggestions on restoring the color?

| So do you avoid poor weather? | 11 Oct 2004 04:26 GMT | 17 |
Never mind about hurricanes...NO ONE should drive in those *:) While I'm still in the preliminary mode of searching Miatas (NBs, and low mileage ones at that) that I could possibly afford, I see some people owning ones that state they've never drivien them in the rain

| Power Window Fix | 10 Oct 2004 23:02 GMT | 2 |
Today's task was to fix the power window in the '90B that failed yesterday. It went about half way down and that was all she wrote. As the affectionatos know: there is a differential cable system that pulls the window up or down. You get to either crank it manually or, as in my

| FS: Chrome M2 Fuel Door | 10 Oct 2004 18:41 GMT | 4 |
I have for sale an almost brand new genuine Mazda chrome/aluminum M2 Fuel Door. This was a dealer removal from a brand new SE, and then got it and I put it on my car for about 10 minutes, and then removed it. (Don't like the way it looks particularly.) It is in mint condition, ...

Hello, I noticed that there is surface rust on the underside of the trunk of my Miata on either side of the license plate lights. Anyone else have this problem or know where it comes from? This is the only major rust I have found on the car. Mine's a '99, does it happen on other ...

Well, after 3 months of searching, I finally took the plunge and picked up a beautiful 97 green Miata! It's an "M" model, and it's hard to tell from new! The leather doesn't have a crack, or crease in it, and the paint is flawless. 49,000 miles and

| Accident | 08 Oct 2004 17:07 GMT | 6 |
Well, 15 days after buying my first Miata some lady in an F-150 pickup ran into the rear of my car and might have totaled it. Much body damage and mechanical damage of the rear differential and driveshafts. She hit me hard enough that her airbag went off. Luckily, I am OK.

| Looking for tire advice | 08 Oct 2004 16:54 GMT | 14 |
What's a good, fairly sticky tire in 185/60/14 size? Snow performance is irrelevant (got a 4x4 truck for that), and rain is infrequent here. This would be strictly for street driving (no racing), but I like to drive fairly aggressively.

| Paint Chip | 08 Oct 2004 06:03 GMT | 1 |
I have a very noticeable finger nail size paint chip on my '90. My amateurish experience with using the official Miata touchup paint has not been great. It usually looks deeper in red after applying a dab of touchup. Maybe I'm screwing up using it.
