HELP! - Disconnecting O2 Sensors12 Oct 2004 01:14 GMT5
Here I am, ready to install my RB Header, FM Hi-Flow Cat and FM Dual
NA Exhaust, and can't find where the O2 sensor pig-tail plugs into the
system.  -- Can anyone out here help?
TIA
Interior Restoration12 Oct 2004 01:08 GMT1
Hello friends at rec.autos.makers.mazda.miata,
I have a Miata with black interior and the door panels, steering wheel, and
the inside of the convertible top are faded.  Any suggestions on restoring
the color?
So do you avoid poor weather?11 Oct 2004 04:26 GMT17
Never mind about hurricanes...NO ONE should drive in those *:)
While I'm still in the preliminary mode of searching Miatas (NBs, and
low mileage ones at that) that I could possibly afford, I see some
people owning ones that state they've never drivien them in the rain
Power Window Fix10 Oct 2004 23:02 GMT2
Today's task was to fix the power window in the '90B that failed yesterday.
It went about half way down and that was all she wrote.
As the affectionatos know:  there is a differential cable system that pulls
the window up or down. You get to either crank it manually or, as in my
FS: Chrome M2 Fuel Door10 Oct 2004 18:41 GMT4
I have for sale an almost brand new genuine Mazda chrome/aluminum M2 Fuel
Door.   This was a dealer removal from a brand new SE, and then got it and I
put it on my car for about 10 minutes, and then removed it.  (Don't like the
way it looks particularly.)  It is in mint condition, ...
Trunk Lid Rust10 Oct 2004 17:38 GMT3
Hello, I noticed that there is surface rust on the underside of the trunk of
my Miata on either side of the license plate lights.  Anyone else have this
problem or know where it comes from?  This is the only major rust I have
found on the car.  Mine's a '99, does it happen on other ...
I FINALLY bought a Miata !!!!10 Oct 2004 05:37 GMT9
Well, after 3 months of searching, I finally took the plunge and picked up a
beautiful 97 green Miata!
It's an "M" model, and it's hard to tell from new!   The leather doesn't
have a crack, or crease in it, and the paint is flawless.   49,000 miles and
Awfully quiet around here....09 Oct 2004 15:15 GMT9
I hope everyone is out rat racing around so much that they haven't had time
to post much! It actually cooled off a bit here around the Houston area
today finally.

Accident08 Oct 2004 17:07 GMT6
Well, 15 days after buying my first Miata some lady in an F-150 pickup
ran into the rear of my car and might have totaled it.  Much body
damage and mechanical damage of the rear differential and driveshafts.
She hit me hard enough that her airbag went off.  Luckily, I am OK.
Looking for tire advice08 Oct 2004 16:54 GMT14
What's a good, fairly sticky tire in 185/60/14 size?  Snow performance
is irrelevant (got a 4x4 truck for that), and rain is infrequent here.
This would be strictly for street driving (no racing), but I like to
drive fairly aggressively.
Paint Chip08 Oct 2004 06:03 GMT1
I have a very noticeable finger nail size paint chip on my '90. My
amateurish experience with using the official Miata touchup paint has not
been great. It usually looks deeper in red after applying a dab of touchup.
Maybe I'm screwing up using it.
TIMING BELT/WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT08 Oct 2004 02:46 GMT2

replacement?

MX-3 throtle body repair07 Oct 2004 07:33 GMT1
Does anyone have any experiance with a bad throttle body. The car has been
stalling and surging at low and high speeds. the dealer is telling me that it
is the throttle body and will cost 1200.00 to replace. Is there a cheap way to
repair or rebuild these things.

Oil Overfill06 Oct 2004 02:56 GMT7
I added oil to the top of the F instead of the full line.  Will this cause a
problem?  Thanks.
