| Tire Wear | 23 Dec 2004 16:18 GMT | 5 |
I bought a new 2004 in March and now have 24,000 miles on it. I had to replace the tires last week as they had no tread left on them ( I did not check them as often as I should have - just assumed that tires would last longer than this and only rotated once).

yes connecticut once again has an emission program and my 95 miata failed w/ high hydrocarbons, (185 vs a pass @ 167). i am wondering if this is due to the fact that the jr supercharger on the car froze an idler wheel and shortly there after the belt. i have ordered both parts

I saw a rear window plastic repair kit on ebay which required one to cut out the old window and glue in the new one. The kits run around $50. Has anyone has any experience with this?

| More new owner questions | 22 Dec 2004 03:16 GMT | 3 |
I got a great deal on a '93 with a clean carfax record but unknown maintenance history (and it was such a good deal I wasn't concerned about this). I'm planning some major PM, and have a few questions: I'm planning on changing the timing belt (the car's got 108,000 and I don't

| Dash illumination out! Fuse OK. 1997 626 LX. What could be wrong? | 21 Dec 2004 22:59 GMT | 14 |
The 15 Amp fuse is OK. Looks fine, even swapped it out for another. It's fuse 11, "Tail". What can I check before giving in and visiting my mechanic? I've got the owner's manual and the Chilton, but couldn't find anything. Thanks!!!

Yippee! Got my first Miata! After looking for a diapered classic Miata for a year or so, I found a '90 Silverstone "B" package with 31,000 miles that was kept in a heated garage in Vermont and only driven on sunny

| NOx Emissions Question | 19 Dec 2004 00:09 GMT | 1 |
My '93 Miata marginally failed the TX State Inspection for NOx at the high speed and low speed. I changed the spark plugs and air filter (was due for this anyway) and had it tested again - this time I passed the low speed test (barely) and still failed the high speed test (1,562 ...

Picked up Zigger from Coop's miata and I'm told I now have the first M1 (97) with the MP62 supercharger. I have just 300 miles on it now but the power increase is really something. Of course, now I need more track time and instruction but Thunderhill is just a few months away!
