Miata Azard ?25 Dec 2004 23:38 GMT3
I've got a Miata '90 model USA, and i've seen that the button for the
"azard" ( four blinking orange lights), isn't lightned, instead of the
button of the retractor light that it is.
Have i to check for the lamp or diode? Pr this button isn' lightened?
Tire Wear23 Dec 2004 16:18 GMT5
I bought a new 2004 in March and now have 24,000 miles on it.  I had to
replace the tires last week as they had no tread left on them ( I did not
check them as often as I should have - just assumed that tires would last
longer than this and only rotated once).
failed emissions, jr/sc?23 Dec 2004 13:02 GMT4
yes connecticut once again has an emission program and my 95 miata
failed w/ high hydrocarbons, (185 vs a pass @ 167).  i am wondering if
this is due to the fact that the jr supercharger on the car froze an
idler wheel and shortly there after the belt.  i have ordered both parts
Rear window plastic22 Dec 2004 18:19 GMT1
I saw a rear window plastic repair kit on ebay which required one to
cut out the old window and glue in the new one.  The kits run around
$50.
Has anyone has any experience with this?
More new owner questions22 Dec 2004 03:16 GMT3
I got a great deal on a '93 with a clean carfax record but unknown
maintenance history (and it was such a good deal I wasn't concerned about
this).  I'm planning some major PM, and have a few questions:
I'm planning on changing the timing belt (the car's got 108,000 and I don't
Dash illumination out! Fuse OK. 1997 626 LX. What could be wrong?21 Dec 2004 22:59 GMT14
The 15 Amp fuse is OK. Looks fine, even swapped it out for another. It's
fuse 11, "Tail".
What can I check before giving in and visiting my mechanic? I've got the
owner's manual and the Chilton, but couldn't find anything. Thanks!!!

Rear Tire wear Question21 Dec 2004 04:53 GMT5
Reviewed the other posts here about rear tire wear but wanted some
additional insight.
Vehicle is a 2000 Miatia (of course!!) with 54,000 miles.  Replaced all
4 tires about 17,000 miles ago.  Noticed that both rear tires have

Drank the Kool-Aid19 Dec 2004 16:14 GMT9
Yippee!  Got my first Miata!
After looking for a diapered classic Miata for a year or so, I
found a '90 Silverstone "B" package with 31,000 miles that was
kept in a heated garage in Vermont and only driven on sunny

northern MS or Memphis areas?? I got spoiled living in Northern VA and

NOx Emissions Question19 Dec 2004 00:09 GMT1
My '93 Miata marginally failed the TX State Inspection for NOx at the high
speed and low speed.  I changed the spark plugs and air filter (was due for
this anyway) and had it tested again - this time I passed the low speed test
(barely) and still failed the high speed test (1,562 ...

Questions from a new owner18 Dec 2004 01:01 GMT4
I just bought a '93 'V-Special' Edition Miata, and had the following
questions:
1) The suspension has been lowered slightly by the previous owner, but I
remember driving a Miata with a stock suspension setup last month, and I
Vroom-Vroom17 Dec 2004 01:43 GMT10
Picked up Zigger from Coop's miata and I'm told I now have the first M1 (97)
with the MP62 supercharger. I have just 300 miles on it now but the power
increase is really something. Of course, now I need more track time and
instruction but Thunderhill is just a few months away!
