| Original Sttering Wheel | 31 Jan 2005 23:03 GMT | 1 |
Here's something I just noticed. In the 1989 brochure, the cockpit photo shows a three spoke steering wheel similiar to the current design. Was this right or did all the airbag with 4 spokes?

| air horns stopped working! | 31 Jan 2005 07:58 GMT | 3 |
My italian air horns stopped working, but don't know what the problem is! The compressor is working and producing quite a bit of air and the tubing seems to be tight with no leaks. Could the horns themselves be defective? Don't know if it makes a difference or not, but I live at ...

| Manual Transmission Fluid | 31 Jan 2005 01:53 GMT | 3 |
I just got a '93. Grainger said API Service GL-4 or GL-5 SAE 75W-80. I went to a couple parts stores and nobody had any, although 75W-90 was available. Should I keep looking, or go with that? I live in Texas, so it gets a workout in the heat. Thanks!

| Finally bought a Miata | 30 Jan 2005 23:53 GMT | 2 |
I did what I have been wanting to do for years, bought a '92 Miata yesterday, a family fun car, and it looks like it will be tons of fun. The plan is to keep it on the street but add performance accesories to it gradually and maybe get involved in Spec Miata.

| Slightly OT: Anybody remember where this post came from? | 30 Jan 2005 23:48 GMT | 4 |
There was a website posted (it might not have been here) that was about some magazine that took a car (I think it was a Sentra) and went extreme to mod it, and in the end they ended up removing the interior, all the body panels, all unneeded wiring and brackets, all the way to ...

| Handbrake light | 30 Jan 2005 17:07 GMT | 2 |
I have had my miata now for just over 18 months.... The handbrake warning light now comes on when the handbrake is fully off. A quick trip to the garage clears this but, but the mechanic just says "It's a common problem!"

| Locked wheels | 29 Jan 2005 17:10 GMT | 2 |
A friend's 91 Miata is in my backyard, and it won't start. We want to tow it to a mechanic, but the wheels seemed to be locked. We turn the key, engage the clutch, but the car won't roll. Any suggestions? (The alarm went off once--could that possibly have locked up the wheels?)

| It's alive! ....it's just not moving: Clutch problems.... | 29 Jan 2005 14:24 GMT | 5 |
I'm a bad Miata owner. Froschen, the Wonder Miata (1992 black on tan, 248k+ miles) has been gathering dust in a shed. It's covered, and I've been good about going out and firing it up every few weeks ... though the battery is completely flat

| 2001 Fog Lamps | 27 Jan 2005 23:29 GMT | 1 |
My wifes car has a fog lamp out. How can I get access to the lamp for replacement? I found only one site on the internet that had fog lamps and they were about $8 each. At that price, I'm better off getting them at a dealer rather than spend $10 in shipping.

| T1-S or T1-R | 27 Jan 2005 14:06 GMT | 19 |
The dilemma: Anticipating needing tires by summer, should I replace my T1-S's which I like very much, or wait, and probably spend a lot more money on the forthcoming T1-R's?
