| Expensive Porsche Parking Lesson (NMC) | 30 Apr 2005 13:19 GMT | 4 |
No miata content, but I figured that some people would get a kick out of this true story that happened last week. A family that I know allowed their teenager to drive their Porsche Carerra to high school. The Porsche is probably about 5 years old and

| lack of power at low rpm | 29 Apr 2005 21:40 GMT | 21 |
Have a 1990 Miata and have just started getting hardly no power, no acceleration, at low rpm. Have changed the fuel filter and plugs and the wires are OK. Could it be the injectors, and if so, what is a good cleaner for them. Thanks.

| Arrite ... alignment & tires | 29 Apr 2005 10:37 GMT | 18 |
Thanks you guys (Lanny, Leon in particular) for suggestions a couple of months ago about my irregular tire wear and alignment. Here's a follow-up. Last tires were Falken Ziex ZE512 185/60-14's and I had characterized these

| Best way to clean | 29 Apr 2005 03:57 GMT | 3 |
I've recently got me a mk2 (yipee!!) and was just wondering, what's the best way to wash it without harming the color in the long run? Is water under (high) pressure better than flowing water & sponge? I've heard to stay away from brushes but don't know how to best treat my new baby ...

| Tires for a conservative driver | 29 Apr 2005 00:23 GMT | 10 |
I'm getting close to replacing my original Michelin Pilot SX-GT tires, which have about 50,000 miles. While I probably drive slightly faster and more aggressively than the average Camry or Taurus driver, I'm pretty conservative for a Miata driver. In the winter I put on Blizzaks, ...

| Tonneau cover comes loose... | 28 Apr 2005 17:46 GMT | 7 |
Hey kids... ..whenever I hit 120mph on my favorite canyon roads around here, my tonneau cover always comes loose. (okay, I'm exaggerating a bit -- say, 55mhp on the freeway, okay?!)

| Miatas and premium versus regular gas | 28 Apr 2005 15:01 GMT | 38 |
What are the opinions of Miata drivers about premium versus regular gas? I have babied my 2003 Miata with 104 octane premium, but with present gas prices I wonder if this is worth it?

| 2002 SE Transmission Noise | 28 Apr 2005 05:20 GMT | 4 |
I have a 2002 SE with the 6 speed transmission and about 10K miles. When I let out the clutch in first and sometimes in second the transmission shutters some. It seems to be less noticable when it is warmer and I can avoid it if I keep the RPMs very high 3K+ while letting out ...

| Airbag light cancelation? | 26 Apr 2005 02:59 GMT | 18 |
Is there a way to cancel out the airbag light? I have a 1991 miata the car was previously in a frontend colision prior to my ownership. I am looking to restore the car to its glory. However the airbag light stays on due to an aftermarket momo steering wheel that was installed ...

| Problem With Rebuilding Clutch Master Cylinder | 24 Apr 2005 02:42 GMT | 10 |
About a month ago a posted a couple messages about a clutch slave cylinder, and then a master cylinder for a '96. I replaced the slave cylinder, but couldn't get any pressure when trying to bleed the system. I bought a master cylinder kit, which had no instructions. I

| Q: Take Cover Off Of Radio | 20 Apr 2005 02:36 GMT | 3 |
Hello, everyone. I have a '99 Miata, which makes a high-pitched squeaky noise when the car is moving. I looked around for a while (because I didn't know where the sound same from) and found it was the radio. Actually it's

| High Test Gas | 20 Apr 2005 00:59 GMT | 33 |
I'm considering buying a 2005 Miata LS. Is it true that I will need to use premium gasoline?

| New Miatas prewired for Satellite radio? | 19 Apr 2005 12:23 GMT | 2 |
Are the 2004/2005 Miata's Prewired for Satellite radio? I see the Bose sound system has a "SAT" button, which means its satellite compatible. Since the receiver goes in the trunk, I'm wondering if the wiring is already in place. I hope the wiring terminal is tucked in behind ...

| removing stripped spark plug - suggestions? | 18 Apr 2005 23:17 GMT | 16 |
I am parting out a 1990 white miata, and spark plug #3 is badly stripped at the part where the spark plug attaches to the socket, not the thread that the spark plug itself goes into. The spark plug is completely stripped, and the part of the plug that the spark plug wire boot

| Check engine light (long) | 17 Apr 2005 12:21 GMT | 13 |
This is about Mazda rather than the Miata. I own two Mazdas, a Mazda6 and a Mazda3. Hindsite tells me I should have varied brand names a bit. But this is how things turned out. The popular mazdaXforums websites are more geared towards fandom than actual technical issues.
