M2 steering wheel, in M1?22 May 2005 02:03 GMT4
The only thing I'm pretty sure of is that it won't be a piece of cake but, I
really love the M2 wheel, hate the M1 and mine's starting to 'go'. Momo
wheels are nice but expensive. I'm pretty sure the airbag would be useless
but mine isn't functional anyway so... I'd love to hear ...

what's involved in putting an air bag back in a '92?19 May 2005 05:29 GMT2
I just bought a 92 Miata that had been in an accident that caused the airbag
to deploy.  The car was repaired and sold sans the airbag to the guy I
bought it from who has been driving it for 4 years without an airbag.
Is this something a back yard mechanic can do, or is it better ...

a car?
Smoke in the morning...18 May 2005 17:09 GMT3
Blue smoke. A large cloud just after I start my 1990.
What do you think is the likely cause? I've got one friend who's
suggested it might be worn valve guides. What am I looking at paying if
it *is* valve guides?

No start in "Park"16 May 2005 22:37 GMT4
I've probably got the wrong group, but I'm hoping you can help me.
I have a 1989 Mazda 929 HC automatic. Most times when I place the car in
"Park", it "Parks", but the park light doesn't come on.
The car won't move (as it shouldn't when in park), but when I try to start
'91Mazda RX7 engine bogs down on hills and when I punch it but is fine in park.16 May 2005 16:30 GMT2
Engine revs great in park or neutral but bogs down on long hills due to
having to step on the gas pedal more.  Engine bogs down when I punch it in
drive only!  No problem punching it in park.  Any suggestions as to whats
up?  Thanks for any advice.
Flashing air-bags light...15 May 2005 16:06 GMT5
I have an intermittent flashing air-bags light on my '94 -- the flashing
isn't very bright (can't even see in daylight) and flashes about five times
and then stops, then five times more, etc.  Is there a way to check if
something's wrong, and if so, possible to fix myself.  Any ...
A couple of questions regarding suspension installation14 May 2005 20:32 GMT11
Ok, so I've been talking for the last couple of years about doing my shocks,
and this year I fianlly had the money to do it. I went back and forth on
doing it myself, but in the end I decided to do it.
So I did the rears with not too much trouble, except that I had to wait for
New Owner14 May 2005 00:43 GMT2
Just purchased a 91 Miata. There are a couple of unknown wires hanging
around. One is a coax coming from the drivers side pillar behind the visor.
The other is a multi-conductor cable with a female pin jack similar to a
printer cable.
