| snow birds! | 31 Aug 2005 17:03 GMT | 5 |
As a Californian trepidatiously headed into the teeth of snowy winters in the Pacific Northwest with our '91 Miata, I was pleased to learn from northern list members that a Miata can tame snow -- if not too much snow for the little fella. Like more than five inches or so. The ...

| 1.6L engine help | 30 Aug 2005 01:29 GMT | 5 |
I pushed my lil 1.6L pretty hard a month ago when at the Miatas at the Gap event. It's wonderfull driving fun! Lots of high rpm 2nd gear stuff. I didn't bump the rev limiter but certain times I probably hung around that 6000 to 6500 range for awhile. My car has 135k and has been ...

| Chrome center caps available for 1993 miata alloy wheels? | 29 Aug 2005 23:53 GMT | 5 |
A friend of mine has some 1993 Mazda OEM alloy wheels in near-perfect condition that have had a very nicely done chrome finish put on them. They look great except that the center pieces that cover the lugnuts are still the grey/silver plastic.

I have the basic Greddy turbo package on my '91, and it's developed the well-known crack just in front of the turbo flange. At first, I patched it (then it was quite small) with JB weld and all went well for a good 30K miles. Now, however, the crack has reappeared and

It's been a while, I'm sure some of you recognize my name. But it's been too long with everything I've been up to, so most of you may not. I've been working on my 90 Miata when I have time, usually, it's because something has broken and can no longer wait to be fixed, like a
