I am wondering if it can be/have been done. Would anyone be interested to drive my 1997 Miata across the country from NYC to SF some time in September? The car has a luggage rack and a hitch bike rack. I would throw in $250 for gas and a Jet Blue ticket back. It's not working out

| 2005 Miata MAZDASPEED | 04 Aug 2005 01:15 GMT | 16 |
Owners of MAZDASPEEDs, From your experience, what is your general opinion about the car? When I test drove the car it seemed to have a sudden surge in power when the turbo kicked in. It wasn't very smooth. Do all the "mazdaspeeds" do this?

Hi group, I have an alarm lying around that's waiting to secure my Miata from the scum of this world (actually, I don't care about the alarm itself, but it would be nice to have central door locking again).

| Water on positive battery terminal? | 02 Aug 2005 17:10 GMT | 13 |
Today I cleaned Bozo's trunk. First time I did it, and yes, it was needed. I always assumed the trunk would stay clean enough, since it is normally closed. So far for that idea. I guess all that black dirt and grime should have given me an idea, but I really only discovered

| Air conditioning option for 1997 STO | 02 Aug 2005 07:14 GMT | 2 |
My understanding is that 1997 STO had A/C as an option. Is it possible to tell, off the cuff, whether a Miata has had A/C installed or not? For example, do Miatas without the A/C option not have an A/C button in the console?
