05/06 comparison30 Sep 2005 07:17 GMT4
While I'd love to keep driving my 90b forever, it's starting to get to
the point where fixing it is costing too much (though mostly minor
stuff). While I had it in the shop a few weeks ago I milled about the
showroom... While I was really drooling over the Rx8, my heart tells me
Miata hesitating. HELP!29 Sep 2005 03:45 GMT6
I need some help/advice/opinions again from this group. About 6 months ago I
had the crankshaft pulley, bolt and key replaced because of a wobbling
pulley. Some of the regular guys in this group may remember me asking for
opinions on that too.
Heater core28 Sep 2005 22:20 GMT4
Just checking to see if anyone has replaced a heater core out of a
1990 Miata or one around that year??  Mine is leaking and could use
any pointers that I can get before I tear into it.
Thanks in advance.
Idle28 Sep 2005 17:41 GMT2
'91 STD with A/C shut off.
What controls the idle from veering off its mark? Keeping it on the money
and not moving a fraction.
I'm having a problem with my '03 Miata28 Sep 2005 05:19 GMT1
98k miles (I travel a lot)
The car will seem to run fine for a while, but if it has been running for
an hour or so it starts having hiccups where the engine seems to
momentarily lose power.  By feathering the throttle I can get through it

Automobile magazine's 10 best sports cars28 Sep 2005 03:24 GMT3
While at the dentist a couple weeks back I looked at this
month's "Automobile" magazine.  They had an article about the
"10 Greatest Sports Cars of All Time".  They weren't ranked,
but seemed to be listed in semi-chronological order:
94 brake upgrade27 Sep 2005 03:09 GMT2
I wanted to upgrade my 94 Miata brakes with some new rotors, lines and
pads, possibly without changing wheels (still have the OEM 14" alloy).
I was thinking of something like:

Questions before buying a Miata26 Sep 2005 22:12 GMT7
Hi all, I am considering buying a Miata and I have several questions I
hope you kind folks can answer.
For the past decade I have driven Honda hatchbacks, which I like
because they are reasonably small, durable, fuel-efficient vehicles
Finding springs for a 1990 Protege25 Sep 2005 23:02 GMT1
I just bought a 1990 Protege (not 4WD) and saw that the rear suspension
was pretty worn. We didn't see just how bad it was until we go the
struts off... both of the springs are very worn and one is broken. I was
able to buy struts without any problem, but I can't find springs to ...

I've recently lost my performance car (only transportation) to
hurricane Katrina. I need some new wheels soon...and while I'd
orignally planned to get an older miata, a '97-'03 or so, and put an FM
II kit on it...I need something pretty soon, that is reliable and
2000 MPV Check Engine Light and Exhaust24 Sep 2005 06:17 GMT7
Mazda MPV 200 130K miles
Check engine light has been on and off without resolution prior to
100K. As early as the first year we have noticed this problem.  When
on, nothing found.  When off, it was not even lighting up momentarily
