95 Miata (no spark)24 Oct 2005 07:30 GMT9
This is my first time posting to this site.
I was driving my wifes 95 Miata 1.8 ltr to work and it died.  All the
electrics worked, except that it died (It happened at 4:30 am.  So head
lights were in use.)  I bought a new coil pack and that did nothing.  Any
Flushing radiator?24 Oct 2005 03:44 GMT6
I have an '03, and according to the owners manual, it's time to flush and
refill the radiator.
The dealer wants $120 and Oil Express wants $70.  Is there anything I should
know that would help me decide who I want to do the job?  For various
Blinking headlight22 Oct 2005 06:12 GMT4
I've got a '96 Miata.  Lately, when I turn off my headlights, the
passenter side headlight closes and then opens 3-4 times before finally
staying closed.  I'm assuming that some sensor that should sense it closes
is failing and the motor cycles until the sensor finally kicks in.  ...

Rear Window Replacement19 Oct 2005 07:56 GMT8
The plastic rear window on my 94 has become discoloured, brittle and has
cracked in several places. The top is still in excellent condition, so I
plant to replace only the window. What manufacturer's window have you
installed ? Did you do the installation yourself ? Was it difficult ...
Loose Front End17 Oct 2005 21:44 GMT3
My '03 Miata has 5,400 original miles on it (I know, I know, I'm not
driving it enough!).  Ever since it was new, I've noticed that if I
drive along uneven pavement, perhaps a ridge parallel to my course, it
sometimes feels like the car is being nudged or shoved left, then right
Leon shows off the 'other side' of his brain16 Oct 2005 23:18 GMT5
I couldn't stand for this eloquent prose to flow and go basically unseen by
the masses. Pat raised the question of Leon replacing 'Bozo' and Leon got
sentimental! I mean he did it up right and said it like allot of us wish we
could and for that matter we all hope to have as many ...
Loose coil pack16 Oct 2005 22:31 GMT6
My number 2-3 coil pack is loose.  I assume the screws
are somewhere completely hidden by the firewall?

Door locking mechanism16 Oct 2005 19:37 GMT13
A year or more ago someone tried, very ineffectually, to pick the driver's
side lock. (S)he didn't get in, and apart from a cosmetic scratch to the
outside of the lock, there seemed to be no damage so I ignored it. Whether
this is related to my current problem I don't know but I ...

Anyone knows where I could get this (or a similar) body kit:

Is a funky clutch pedal a disaster waiting to happen?15 Oct 2005 01:31 GMT2
First of all, I want to say that it's been a *long* time since I've been
here, and it was great to see Leon's and Lanny's names when the list
window opened! :-)
My car: '99 Miata with just under 20K miles (oh, how embarrassing).
Dealer Rust Protection  and good?14 Oct 2005 07:06 GMT6
Is there any value to the rust protection and spray offered by new car
dealers ?  Why is this offered instead of the factory one?  Is this a
rip off ?
Thanks.
PBS reviews Pontiac Solstice14 Oct 2005 04:01 GMT85
I just watched "Motorweek" on PBS as they reviewed the Pontiac Solstice.
They continually compared it to the MX-5 and.... well, here, read it
yourselves:

Mazda P5 Fast idle cold10 Oct 2005 18:57 GMT2
Here, I'm trying to economize on fuel, and the P5 runs a very fast idle
in the first few miles. Is there any fix for this? Can the computer
program be modified to change the idle? I really miss the screwdriver
adjustments of days gone by.
Milky Mazda windows?10 Oct 2005 16:29 GMT14

$30-60.00
my next problem, which i have been told was a result of the leak i had in
the car, but i solved that problem and still have this problem.  it is
