Red 1990 Miata - "Little Miss Getaround"
Has anyone experienced a heater problem like this?
-When the flap is set to Recirc, I feel air coming out
of the vents.  Of course this is not good on rainy days

I have never seen it mentioned here but my 1.8 has a whine apparently
from the transmission at low revs mainly in the lower gears particularly
when the throttle is feathered.
About 25,000 recorded miles.

Mazda's 2+2 RX-8
The rotary engine disappeared from Mazda's lineup when the RX-7 was
retired in 1995, but is back -- more refined, more powerful and more
efficient than ever -- in the RX-8.

I'd like to upgrade the standard casette radio and speakers on my '96
with something that you can actually hear with the top down, and
preferably with some kind of connection for an iPod - any suggestions
out there?

anyone know of a place that I can get service on my radio in my 97 mx5.
Need a location in southern nh.  Radio doesn't balance left and right, and
has no readout on the dial.

I have a 2003 protege, which I have had dealer serviced at the Mazda
dealership I purchased it from (call them Dealer A).  I have agreed to all
service they have recommended, which on my last couple visits has run into a
substantial sum of money as my mileage approached 40K.  ...

I've got a '90 Miata and the other day while driving I felt
something hit my left foot.
When I stopped, I found what looked like a broken, plastic washer.
There are three things I notice

Out of the blue, my AC stopped working on my 1997 Miata (30k miles). The
little blue  AC light still comes on when I press the button, but no
cold air flows. The car was in storage for about 1 month, with a trickle
charger. It started just fine. I tested it at various speeds and ...

Are there any Miata owners that have the high-end, Bose stereo (2-Din,
with Cassette in middle section) and is experiencing blown speaker
systems?  I just bought a beautiful, British Racing Green, 1999 Miata
and it is great excep the stereo.  The sound is terrible and the volume

I plan on getting a new Miata in the spring so my old '90 has to go. Nice
car well, cared for. Clear coat starting to go, but overall in great
