JR Sway Bar - Racing Beat Brace Contact28 Feb 2006 18:52 GMT24
I have the JR sway bars and the Racing Beat sway bar brace listed. The
auction pictures show the contact points for anyone who is interested in
seeing them, (Leon?).
Plus, it is a blatant promotion of my other Ebay auctions, which
Miata's Effeminate?28 Feb 2006 14:00 GMT28
I used to own a Miata and traded it in a year or so ago for a more practical
new vehicle but it was an awesome fun car. I was wondering if anybody else
had experienced other guys thinking that a Miata is an effeminate car? I
guess the size makes it seem girlish to them, like a ...
Screwed?28 Feb 2006 12:21 GMT18
I have a Mazda Miata 1995 that is missing a set of screws that goes on
the top of the windshield and holds the bracket that the top clamps
down on.  It is a set of screws with a star in the center of each screw
and the dealership is unable to find it.  What can I do?  Anyone out
2005 MAZDASPEED Fuel Pump issue27 Feb 2006 14:01 GMT3
I own a '99 Miata and am looking to buy the 2005 Mazdaspeed.
I read some reviews on Yahoo Auto about faulty fuel pumps in the
Mazdaspeeds. Didn't find more information on Miata.net.
Has anybody else seen this problem? Should I not consider the 2005
Turning of the engine at traffic lights26 Feb 2006 21:44 GMT22
I recently read that many Europeans shutdown their engines at traffic
lights to save gas.  Am I missing something?
If I do the math right my Miata gets 30 mpg on the highway cruising at
say 70 mph at about 3000 rpm.  So I'm using 2.3 gph or .04 gpm.  If I
Toys for the rich (NMC)26 Feb 2006 05:29 GMT10
I saw this posted to a local list. How much do you think one of these
model jets would cost you?
I would probably get about 10 minutes of playtime out of it before I
nose-dived it into the ground.
Drove a new MX5 today and...25 Feb 2006 21:56 GMT33
...absolutely detested the car!  The very last thing I expected is the
car would hurt, the seat put a pain in my back that still hasn't gone
away, the throttle position caused enough pain in my ankle to where I
had to use the cruise control and the left hand cup holder, the one
NB sway bars22 Feb 2006 17:42 GMT6
On my 92, upgraded swaybars were the best money I ever spent (legally). Is
the same true on the NB? Anyone know stock bar thickness (front and back)
off the top of their head. The PO may have upgraded them already, not sure.
TIA,
Aftermarket sway bar question22 Feb 2006 15:08 GMT7
When you buy aftermarket sway bars such as the Jackson Racing or Flying
Miata sets, do they come with their own bolts for the front sway bar or
do you use the original bolts?
Thanks!
Prospective 99 Miata owner22 Feb 2006 02:57 GMT8
I have some questions that remain unanswered and was hoping someone
could help me. For one, I could not find anywhere an FAQ with
information on what to look for when buying a used M2. Is there one
somewhere? Secondly, a stranger question. I don't golf but I do both
Thinking about a hardtop.21 Feb 2006 22:42 GMT32
I'm thinking about getting a hardtop for my '97 and I'm interested in
hearing from those who have them.
How's the interior noise at speed compared to with a softtop?
How much hassle removing/replacing it?
95 Merlot FS cheap21 Feb 2006 18:18 GMT12
Just a heads up, there's a guy in CA on miata.net selling a high mileage 95
Merlot for about what the 15"BBS wheels are worth! I'm not kidding, act
fast, he wants to get rid of it for $850!
If someone hasn't already bought it I'd just about s _ _ t my pants.
Problem with a 1997 Protege21 Feb 2006 14:11 GMT6
My daughter has a 1997 Mazda Protege that has developed a new problem.
It is locked in Park - and will not shift out to any gear.  This is new -
and there was no apparent warning of a developing problem.
Any ideas?
Ever done this in a miata?21 Feb 2006 06:01 GMT45
First time ever, after leaving the dentist, (which is my excuse), I
opened the door of my red miata and thought "whoa, where's my Momo
steering wheel and boost gauge"?
It turns out my miata was parked 2 spaces down.
Automatic transmissions21 Feb 2006 00:56 GMT18
I am interested in purchasing a nice 93 Miata with an AUTOMATIC
transmission with 75,000 miles on it.  It is for my wife and she does
NOT drive a stick and won't learn.  My question is, other than the
obvious power loss, how reliable are these automatics?  Do they have
