I can say that it has been the best vehicle I've ever owned with 123K on
it the major repairs consisted of a clutch, a set of brakes, a battery,

I have a 2003 Mazda Miata with cloth seats. No problem with the height,
but I need about an extra inch/inch and a half of addt'l leg room. I
have seen many internet posts relating to foam removal on Miata seats.

side of the rear end of the vehicle with an OEM MX-5 badge. I have seen
a few posts that pertain to badge removal, but they all refer to the
prior body style Miata. I'm not sure if it is attached with clips/pins

(From the pictures of the Protege engines for sale on eBay, it looks like it
CAN be done, but you'd have to use a Miata intake manifold, as the Protege
unit, being for an FWD car, takes in air from the wrong side.)
