I have an '03 Miata...great car...love it..however, I would like some
better back support and, of course, more leg room. I have seen many a
thread discussing removal of  seat back foam, removal of the driver
side arm rest, removal of the driver side foot rest. However, I'm not

Chrome valve cover follies03 Mar 2006 21:07 GMT9
I noticed a chrome valve cover for a 1.6 liter Miata on e-bay, being offered
by a seller named Dennis Hill.DBA "chrome2go". They were offering it at a
"buy it now" price of $175 with a $40 credit for a core. I sent the seller
an e-mail inquiring as to how soon the core had to be ...
Oil consumption options03 Mar 2006 03:36 GMT7
Now that I will be getting a second Miata, it seems like a good time to
do something about Bozo's oil burning problem.  But I am somewhat at a
loss how to proceed.  Valve job?  Engine rebuild (boring out cylinders?)
Putting in a new engine?

I have a 2002 Miata and I am interested in either supercharging or
installing a turbo.  I am wondering what potiential damage can this do
to your motor.  Is it worth going this way or just leaving it alone.  I
don't want to track my car but I would like better performance.  Any

90 miata engine change, now cranks but wont fire, help!02 Mar 2006 03:17 GMT2
Just today the long process of changing over the engine on my 90 miata
was completed. The crankshaft on the original engine was the short
crank and the keyway had already been filled so rather then replacing
the crank on the engine (which had a little over 200Ks already) I
Transmission/clutch/ shifting questions02 Mar 2006 03:06 GMT12
I'm a new Miata (2001 LS)owner with some questions.  I hear a "chirp" that
seems to be a clutch or transmission issue at about 4000rpm or over.
vehicle hesitates ever so slightly at the same time as the "chirp".  Does
anyone else experience this?
