Engine shuts off when coming to a stop02 May 2006 12:56 GMT5
My '90 Miata, which I have owned for one month has 91,500 miles on it.
It runs great except when it's warmed up and I am coming to a stop, the
engine shuts off.  I can restart it and it starts and runs fine,  tach
steady at about 750 rpm, then I take off and when coming to the next

I just joined this group - and I just got a new 2006 MX-5 Grand Touring
about two weeks ago. I'm in Orange County, CA.
I really enjoy my Miata. I'm a "big guy" - a football player build -
and I'm very comfortable in the newly designed Miata. I've already

I suspect that no reasonable person would consider a new MX-5 to be an
economy car or give the fuel economy a huge role in the decision to buy
one but I thought that this might be of interest. Immediately after

Here's the deal.  It's going for about $1600 more than NADA ($6495).
But, I think it's worth it.  It only has 91,000 miles on it.  It's
owned by a 64 year old retired gentleman and his wife who is only
selling it because his wife has artheristis and can't get in and out of
