92 miata gauge/turn signal problems16 Jul 2006 00:17 GMT1
I have changed out the 10 amp fuse in my 92 miata several times but it
keeps blowing out leaving me with no gauges or turn signal.  I have had
it to the shop several times and they said they couldn't find the
source of the problem even though they traced the circuit and tested
Questions on Miata15 Jul 2006 19:23 GMT2
I'm thinking of buying a Miata.  I'd like a convertible, but...
-I have tinnitus (from years of motorcycling) and don't want to
aggravate it with loud noises.  How loud is a Miata with the top down?
I presume it's mostly wind noise and therefore speed proportional.  So,
Will your Miata protect you in a crash?15 Jul 2006 06:58 GMT19
About two years ago a guy ran a red light and hit me. Recently someone sent
me a link that shows pictures of the accident. I didn't know this story had
been written or that the pictures existed until last week. This was my first
Miata. I bought it new and drove it for seven ...
Am I the first to ask ....?15 Jul 2006 06:53 GMT13
'06 MX5/GT, On the Visors, what is that funky cutout in the mirror doors for
???
Doesn't hold the keyless entry card, as I thought it might.
If you don't know, I'll accept all "creative uses", in good humor...
replacing the soft top...14 Jul 2006 21:33 GMT6
My 91 BRG soft top finally gave in and snapped the zipper on the soft
top. Most local shops want a lot to replace a $20 zipper ( all in the
removal and replacement ) of the top. As the top is in very good
condition, I thought to remove  and then replace it myself and save a
Blown Horn/Brake Light Fuse14 Jul 2006 05:11 GMT4
I have a 1999 Miata MX5 that recently has started to have the 15 amp
fuse that serves the horn and brake lights (and I'm sure a few more
things) blow occassionally.  As this is intermittent, I'm struggling on
where to start looking.  Anyone had a similar problem and can give me a
Radio installationm12 Jul 2006 15:55 GMT4
The radio on my 92 Miata has died and I plan to replace it. How do you get
at the mounting behind the dash?

New owner, old Miata12 Jul 2006 15:39 GMT2
Hello group,
After many years of looking, I finally broke down and bought a 1995 Miata.
Needs loads of attention, but I wanted something to "tinker" with, so it was
perfect. I will be picking your brains and possibly pestering ya'll in the
Engine Check light went out by itself11 Jul 2006 17:52 GMT4
Last Friday when I was going out for lunch my car started running VERY
rough. Barely running. I had driven into work that morning and it was
fine. Anyways it just turned out to be bad plug wires (since they were
still the originals at 63,000). This all caues the engine check light
Clunking sound11 Jul 2006 01:13 GMT4
Lately, as I'm coming to a stop under braking -- particularly if the
wheels are turned -- I hear a little clunk or two.
My Miata is a 1990, and I'm wondering whether some of the suspension
bushings might be breaking down.
Clutch or shifting problem/Not really sure10 Jul 2006 20:54 GMT12
My miata was working just fine. Went and had the oil changed and put it
in the garage for a few days. Yesterday morning got in started it up,
pushed in the clutch to put it in gear and nothing. It wouldn't go into
any gear I tried. Was as if the clutch wasn't pushed in but without ...
Reliable Mechanic in York UK10 Jul 2006 19:43 GMT2
I have just been informed that my 1992 Eunos has failed its MOT and the
Mazda dealership who looked at it say they don't think it is economical
to repair. The car runs really well though and I would like to keep it
on the road. Everything is repairable, I just need a good meachanic ...
rattle from undercarriage of 1991 miata10 Jul 2006 17:32 GMT1
Would appreciate intelligence about rattle from undercarriage; a tinny,
sheet metal-like rattle that is loudest on deceleration, hardly
noticeable on acceleration, and silent when clutch is depressed.  Had
mechanic check out heat shield, which he said he secured.  Noise
MP3 ready ?10 Jul 2006 14:15 GMT5
I've tried everything to get it to play MP3's as files, showing the name,
artist, etc. as the manual shows, without any luck. I know I can burn them
to CD's and it works, but I was hoping for more. Anyone know what / If I'm
doing something incorrectly?. Bose 7-speaker headend, ...
Mark I Miata Wiper Problem08 Jul 2006 12:58 GMT3
I own a 'V-Spec' 93 Miata, and the wiper will not operate. I noticed this
when it started to rain heavily and at first, the blades worked
sporadically. Now however, they don't move at all. Perhaps water entered the
wiper mechanism?
