A friend has a 94 Miata that pops out of fifth gear.  Any suggestions on a

I'm a new '05 MazdaSpeed owner who last drove a 4-speed Corvette 40
years ago. Other than missing a gear now and then, I'm adapting to the
6-speed well enough. Although I still tend to shift 1-2-5-6 ocassionly.
My question is, should I be feeling the gears meshing as much as I do?

My MX5 NB of 1998, 93000 km, which I drive without problems for over a
year now suddenly shows a weird problem. The coolant level in the
reservoir is at minimum, filling it is no solution, after 2 days,
minimum level again. Level is actually about the level of the joint

.... after 3,800 miles, 137.311 gallons of gasoline at a cost of
$443.81 and an average of 24.7 miles per gallon.
We were gone 11 days and didn't drive 3 of those days, 8 days were
spent getting to Missoula and then Kalispell in Montana, then Tonasket,

I hear a clicking from my right rear wheel that has the distinctive CV joint
clicking sound.  Looking at old (2000) posting to this group it appears that
I would be better off buying a whole new/reman axel.  The labor for
installing the axle seems less than replacing just one CV ...

The only miata content here is that I need to know the name of this band
so that I can get some music from them to listen to in my miata.
I am not sure why they did not go big, this is one of the finest musical

There used to be an insulating headliner available on line
for the convertible top.  One summer in Florida has made me
want to try one!  I just finished looking at every vendor at
Miata.net trying to find it, with no luck.  Can anyone help?

For those interested in the ongoing plight of the Cougar Ace, this is
interesting news:
 The vehicles onboard did not tumble or crash when the ship listed, the Coast Guard said.
 Each was secured to the ship with a "single point device", according to Mazda.

Took my car to the mazda shop they stated I needed to change the timing
belt, changed that and the car still will not start, does anybody know
what the problem is.

What is this recall about?

My parking brake cable is seizing up causing my right rear brake caliper to
not release after using the p.brake.  I assume this means it's time to buy
a new cable or two?  Is this a DIY job, or should I pay for this one?  For
background, I do brakes, plugs, radiators etc, I pay ...
