Latest update on "Miata + Wing" in Austin31 Dec 2006 14:55 GMT17
Despite the "Huge Tak" and the various miata recipes that are included
along with the paint, rims, and even tires, the 1992 "Miata + Wing" that
runs like a camp in Austin is still for sale.
There have been no problems because the car is still "FAST FAST ANF YUP
Help me decide: MX-5 PRHT or BMW Z-430 Dec 2006 15:37 GMT11
I test drove an MX-5 (PRHT) today and it was great.  MX-5 is a little more
snug fitting than the Z-4 (in the cockpit as well as about half the trunk
space) and the ride is smoother (less choppy) in the Z-4.  I live in PA and
the roads suck. This will be a summer fun car - stored ...

faded paint query27 Dec 2006 16:06 GMT7
the red paint on the metal of our '91 mx shines-up like new but the
paint on the fiberglass/plastic rear bumper and environs is quite dull and
seems to want to stay that way. do i need to repaint that area or is there
something that will shine it up?
"Chirping" clutch..26 Dec 2006 17:16 GMT2
My 94 "Aussie Spec" with 110K Km, has developed an odd "chirp" sound. It
occurs intermittently when the clutch is released while changing up gears.
The car is running just fine other than that.  Anyone got any ideas on where
to begin looking?
no oil pressure25 Dec 2006 18:24 GMT2
I started my 97 miata today for the first time in a month
and started down the road, and first I noticed that the
engine didn't sound right, then I noticed that there was
no oil pressure. I came right back and parked it.
Occasional puffs of oil smoke from tailpipe24 Dec 2006 01:16 GMT6
I'm getting occasional puffs of bluish smoke from the tailpipe of my 96
Miata 1.8L.
I replaced the PCV valve, which I know can cause smoking if it fails. I
also put clamps on both ends of the hose that connects the PCV value to

Does anyone know when the seat belts on the M1 miata were changed from
bolting to the tunnel versus attaching to the seat?
This is for cloth seats if that matters.
Thanks!

cover yer eyes! - 1992 Miata (I think)20 Dec 2006 14:35 GMT15
Holy crap, I don't know which is more painful to see, the spelling or
the miata. It is actually advertised as a "The ultimate miata + wing".
Unbelievable.
The wing helps with downforce at "around 160 mph".
I've  been VIOLATED!19 Dec 2006 17:10 GMT30
My Miata got broken into yesterday, someone got into the passenger side by
removing the tonneau cover.  They unzipped the zippers but ripped the snap
studs out of the dashboard, cracking it where the studs screw in.  They
opened the glove box and didn't take anything, they opened ...
